Wonderful chapter . It was very interesting to read about meticulous planing to take care appama.
The manipulating Greek trio have become mere puppets in the hands of Chanakya & chandra.

Wondering if we would actually see appama's fate or is this the end of her chapter?

Thank You Neetu 😛

In this Chapter, Apama had her share of humiliation, mental torture, insult, banishment, fear, helplessness (everything that she had made Nandini endure without any fault of hers) - in One Day.

Chanakya has already given a picture of what her fate is going to be. Her ordeal is not over yet.

He wants her to bear all the difficulty, the pain and trouble during the travel, with a big hope, that her letter had reached Seleucus, to prove that she is innocent.
Yes, indeed the letter will reach Seleucus. But, when she reaches him, puffing and panting for breathe, he is going to behead her.

She made Chandra punish his Beloved Wife, for no fault of hers.
Now, her husband will punish his Beloved Wife, for no fault of hers.

Her death, at the hands of her very dear beloved husband. This is the end of the road for Apama.
I have described how her Final Journey is going to be. Now, I leave it to the imagination of the readers how deadly its going to be...

Author's Note of Thanks

shailusri1983 Shailaja, Thank You for encouraging me to start writing, cheering a fellow writer, for giving me a direction to the story , and giving me a feedback at the end of each chapter. If not for you, Jodhu and Siva, I would not have written Chandra's monologue. I never wanted to use Roopa, but your feedback of using Nandini as a prop for the story, gave an idea to bring a surprising twist to the story. My very first attempt to testing my writing skills is because of you. I dedicate this story to you.

JanakNandini, siva06, banuprasa, Shining Stuti My fellow FF Writers who were my inspiration. Thank You for extending your moral support in every step of the way. Thank You Siva, for being my first critic. You were generous with the praises for things you liked and very honest with your feedback for things you did not like. You ensured that I stay humble and thankful for all the praise that I was getting. Stuti, even though you never read any of my chapters, your stories and writing style did inspire me.

Lifez_Beautiful - Thank You for helping me with the technicalities of posting the FF online.

Jodhu - My very first reader!!! My very first feedback came from you... And you were always positive about me. Thank You. As a beginner, every single feedback encourages as well as helps the Writer to improve writing and improvise the story. If not for your exam, I am sure you would have read and commented on each of my chapters.

abiariel, alanta - My fellow commentors, You are as regular as your Daily Updates on the Forum. You never fail to amaze me. Sometimes, you read my updates, even before I sent my PM.

aquameera You are my Energy Booster. She raised my spirits when the readership of this FF was very low. If not for you, I would not have continued and completed this story.

Bronze., - An unexpected visitor to my Forum who became my regular reader. I am blessed. Thank You dear.

jayaks02 Thank You for leaving your valuable comments, Sri. You used to be a regular in the IF. But I guess your work schedules have changed. I don't see you in the other thread as well. So, I assume you dint have time to read the balance chapters as well. Nevertheless, I appreciate you left your mark here.

aisha1099, diyak, ENSI73, kaku17, kanu_nvlkh, khalessi75, arunsunita_gm, Testmytest - My silent readers. Even though you did not leave any comment / feedback, My mailbox is my testimony of your most Loyal Readership. Most of the mails have not even been read till date. Sometimes, the Chapter had a Like button, even before I could send a mail to you guys. Thank You. Thank You All.

mithragvn, NIAMAJEN, srikrithi, princessSonia, shaivani, shalu1786, steffi_angel, Unbeknown - Readers who joined in late, but cared enough to leave their mark behind. Thank You all for appreciating my work by hitting the "Like Button. As a writer, a Like remark tells me that the Chapter atleast appealed to the Reader. It inspires me to write better, to force you enough, to leave a Comment Post online. Thank You again.

KiranSD1, monu_tan, aishwish, Animal.Lover, - Thank You for hitting the Like button on the Chapters you liked.

If I have left anyone's name here inadvertantly, please do forgive me.

Thank you for dedicating this story to me. I am really overwhelmed. I did nothing extraordinary or special. But this gesture of yours will always be very special to me just like your story. Three cheers on the successful completion of your story.

An unexpected end to an unusual story. So helana in captivity lost her mind. Reading the thought process of each character was great.
You have put quite an effort on the ff and it shows, chanakya verses being used as a backdrop for explaining various strategies was very enjoyable, even the title is so meaning ful.

I liked how it came full circle. Poetic justice was done to Apana n helana. It was fun seeing them get tangled in their own web.

I really enjoyed this write up 👏
If possible write something on nandini. I really like her character & would love to read about her thoughts.

Thank You, Neetu, for observing Chanakya's verses used as a backdrop for the story. Not many people have observed it. Some might have found it boring too 😃
I feel we need a bit of philosophical bent to read Chanakya's verses alone. But if you read a story and the moral from the Chanakya's pearls of wisdom, we understand it better, and it's a bit entertaining too.

Helena, the demon, who can make her own mother a puppet to get her things done, has been momentarily trapped. But she had not lost her mind. The demon is scheming it's next conspiracy - making plans to get out of the trap and seek it's revenge by trapping Chandra's weakness i.e. Nandini and Bindusar.

I am so happy that you liked the write up, Neetu. I will try to come up with something on Nandini as well. Even I like her subtle princess character on screen.

A warm welcome to my thread Taahir.

Thank You so much for appreciating the concept.
Crime fiction is not everybody's liking and a lot of the forum people here enjoys love stories.

Thank You again, for reading and commenting after each Chapter. That gives an idea to the author, as to what went well with the reader, what appealed to them most and what didn't.

Will wait for your further comments on the remaining chapters.

Cheating her only daughter and husband..then for whom does she live?..anger always misfires and takes the wrong target..appealing to husband differs from that of the samrat..the same mistake done by CGM..still he suffers in the hands of Nandini..refusing his rights as a lover and husband

I can't understand..after waging war against him(for not giving her conjugal rights),how can he be with her in the same mahal , as her husband(even for name sake)will it happen in real life..a delicate and sensual matter is being openly discussed in Rajya sabha

Can she with stand the rigors of solitude?just like prisoners in a solitude cell for a capital punishment

Living a life of abandonment is the greatest punishment of all times

Evilness..yes we know that the root of all evil is the abuse of power..she will degrade herself to any low level to achieve her ends...she has decided to travel in a short cut path to make him fall at her feet..the weapon..BINDUSAAR.

Your epilogue conveys a feeling of deep sadness..i donot know why? have we involved ourselves so much in the characters and start living with them?

That is the success of your story..
