Honestly, i don't get much time so can't follow the wonderful FFs written by other members regularly, but because this is a one shot so i gave it a shot😉

I like how you built up the scene, it was not rushed, with all the little details of gazing eyes, jewelleries and all.😳

Portrayal of CGM seems somewhat more honest and real than the 'sanskari mahaanta' 😡shown in TV channels. Like, at point of the expected interruption created by baby Bindu, CGM doesn't hide his frustration under veiled parental love. This is very natural trait particularly for a man. also his little battle of jealousy with dear son.😊

In following scene to interruption, when he starts imagining again, the twist, if I may say so, is unusual in good way (his student days flash back). Typical cliched scene would have been getting carried away admiring his wife's maternal excellence🤢

Overall, in one shot you covered CGM's love life, fatherly instincts, alpha male qualities of a King, a slice of past as a student in ashram, his life's aim, and heavy impression/influence of his Guru. But also his hidden desires and dreams. Not easy to encapsulate so many aspects in a single piece. Good Job!👏👏

The final/last line takes away all accolades- Chandragupta Maurya was finally home - unabashedly I can say I loved it!😊😃👏

I'm glad that you liked honest portrayal of CGM...the credit goes to you. You know after I wrote it I wasn't very sure about it...then I remembered that once at AT while replying to one of my comments you have said that if chandra has to change bindu's diaper, leave alone for one year, only for two days he will go into ghrina mode...yes it was a said in humor but it kind of reassured me that parents are at the end of the day humans and its okay if sometimes they behave like one.

The last line is my favorite as well ..in fact the only thing in this OS I was sure about.

Do I need to say how thankful I'm to you...you know writing this piece has given me immense pleasure it is as if I have discovered a part of myself and you were the first person I shared this with. you are special shumi 😳

If not for you two I would have never written this OS...it was you two who kept on telling me that I can write...apart from the usual banter at AT there has not been a single serious post of mine which wasn't praised by you two...the confidence you gals showed in me is the prime reason I could write. guess what just like chandu even I need push😆 ab bhugatna bhi tum dono...be prepared there will be more to come😆

what have I done to have you girls and what would I do without you two.

I hope I have conveyed my gratitude towards you two properly.
