May be as good as jalal..bad than jalaj..better than jalal or worst than Jalal. But definitely not as Jalal. I have seen many actors breathing life to a character...but he breathes the character. His grasp on pschye is so firm...Jalal was a man with a lineage to take forward. A shrewd polished emperor . Chandra is on the verge of manhood...who is yet to arrive, with no pressure of maintaining the decorum of a king/emperor. So, I really appreciate the fact that today his physical stance and gestures were not at all measured, unlike Jalal. In fact he was everywhere ..., goofing, fumbling and fidgeting . I like the fact that it was kept short, and nandini bounced back without much of hey ishwar/ya allah' (anyways she wasn't dead I guess, just that the good for nothing RMP diagnosed wrong😆)...chandini really don't need as such any jolt to realise their love for each other , albeit chankya badly needed one to realise that his priya shisya has moved on his life.😆

To me this sequence is more "ab humara ek doosre se hi wajood hai" sequence, than the one it is constantly compared with. Rajat satisfied me. Just wish...they have maintained a steady pace...going fast is fine with me, but why rush the scenes

So if, or rather when he refuses, what then?

No, Nandini is not pretending to hate Nand. She is clearly shell-shocked and emotionally traumatised.

So now Chandra gotta choose between N and chanakya. What about Nandinis alleged relationship with Malay now it's all resolved as a part of roopas plan? Chanakya may have been a bit suspicion at the odd timing of nandini appearing in the place bleeding and almost dead+ Nand getting away but shouldn't he do a bit digging rather than straight death penalty? Seems a bit far

fetched. Or it's his outrage of daughter getting kidnapped and he needs to punish someone?

And I agree with your response to lavi. Dargah and present scenario in CN are poles apart. Loved your take on how nandini will fight alongside him...rather than fighting with him.

To me dargah one was epic because it had "iss jahan ka shehnshan baringhis heart to dono jahan ka shehnshah"

The whole poison sequence was more significant to me because of Jalal. He took the first step towards becoming Akbar...the very first time he reached out to his subjects and acknowledged that raja and praja has a symbiotic equation. of course Jodha begum, gifted him that commoner's dess and blah blah. 🥱 But I don't even register it😆
