Never underestimate the bhakti quotient of the heroine cheerleaders. When everyone could go Awww... over Roopa, they would have done the same over Nandini too. It has lasted so long because Chandra wants it to.

Nothing that goes on in his house escapes his eye, nothing that goes on in his house happens without him wanting it to happen! Kaash this was how CGM always was... ok, at least most of the time!

I know there are many loopholes... (that what I'm writing here doesn't ring 100% true to the current CGM's picturisation - since he is still far from that of an ideal/perfect leader)... but just this one statement... this one sentence... carries such weight to it... the implication behind it, packs a powerful punch... this is what leaders are about, Ekta...

I instantly imagined CGM standing at the back of this huge stage, his arms crossed, watching the drama with a smug frown, waiting for the fools to finish their parts, so that he can make an entry and take center stage!

As usual, tonight's episode was powered by the Chandra-Nandini scenes. Chandra was in top form

She was marvellous when she literally pounces on the food, and then speaks for the rest of the segment with her mouth full.

when she's dead hungry, there is something about a woman who eats without caring about who/what/where she is... I've always found such reactions so 'genuine'!

Actually I am more eager for this haunting track than Roopa's earlier track. It was such a pain to endure ,what with SRAH syndicate being the mastermind behind it. Here it is Chandra-Nandini, and probably some cameo appearance from Chanakya. Much tolerable collaboration.

This apart, Sandhya my dear, the Magadha royal family, bar Helena, are behaving like monkeys at the zoo. There is no logic to or consistency in anything they do. So this round goes to you- khush raho!😆

Helena will be the palace screeching Banshee. Period. Where did her combat trained brain went can be made into a track of its own. Why would she think that it would matter to Roopa (although it did) that she is not really married to Chandra, and Helena as the first wife has the most right over him? In which day did anyone acknowledge her rights on him? What was supposed to have been a temporary arrangement of Nandini sharing rooms with him has now become permanent. He has rid her of her wifely rights which is staring at the face of any who is willing to look, and she asserts that since Roopa is not really married to him, she i.e. Helena sits higher on the food chain? Furthermore, even before Roopa became besotted with Chandra she had always displayed sever lack of modesty for a woman of 4th BC; now being given the position of MM and legal wife of Chandra , why should it matter to her at all?

The problem with all these females are that they are suppose to have been highly intelligent and learned; yet they dont seem to have an ounce of strategy or logic in their brain.

But as for part @bold, how would that have worked? Roopa would have killed Nand, collected evidence of that like a big game hunter, and come straight back to the Pataliputra palace like a homing pigeon. What else would she do? So it would hardly be so simply for our sonny boy.

This brings new questions to me . How does Chandra and Chanakya plan to get Roopa to Nand? And at which point? I am thinking, it has to be done pre-exposing Roopa, no? Simply because if she has already been exposed and she loses what she fiercely desires now - Chandra- why would she want to co-operate with them?

So if its going to be pre-exposing, how will Chandra explain to Nandini why he is hustling Roopa to some forsaken corners of Magadh?

What I cannot understand is how Helena and Aapama swallow Roopa's assertion that they would never be able to prove that she is not Nandini. It should be the easiest thing in the world: just make her read one or more of Nandini's precious pustakein.. I wonder why neither of them throws this in Roopa's teeth. In fact, their scenes with Roopa are fast becoming both monotonous and dull, both in content and the performances.

I am amazed at how Roopa is so confident they can't expose her but she can them. I mean, really how will she be convincing Chandra that his Patrani was up to no good. It will be her words against Helena with Helena having more possibilities of proving she is fake?

So instead of coming up with a smart reply and shut Roopa up, Helena goes on to pointing out that she will never be up to her status because she is not really married to Chandra. Really?

Also, OK, Roopa is demented, but Sunanda has all her wits about her. How long does she think this charade can be kept up without ending up as a shipwreck? It has lasted so long because Chandra wants it to. Does Sunanda not worry about how it is proceeding so smoothly?

Any person with wits about them should immediately suspect something is off, when the King just immediately believes the story about the twin, and proceeds to move on with life. He does not question Sunanda how did Roopa end up in the palace and was able to play all the tricks that she had, nor does he ask Nandini (a.k.a. Roopa) how did Roopa imprison her or where. Most importantly, he does not ask either of them, why being sentenced to death Roopa would not tell him of her real identity and claim that the real Nandini was the culprit and not herself. She was so great she accepted death without a protest?

I love My Fair Lady. Oh the scene where they were all at the race is riotous!

I suppose about 2 days of Nand's 7 day deadline are gone already.Which leaves only 5 days for Chanakya to lug Roopa to Nand's lair. The wedding plans will collapse, and then I suppose this track will come up

Well, probably because he married none of his queen out of love. Even how Dhurdhara ended up with a child has nothing to do with love or lust. Everything was purely out of duty. And as in many historical kings life, there is always a favorite queen. A mother may love all her child equal, but a King can always have a favourite 😉

In Chandra's case, he became king at a very young age. Age where naturally boys are testing out the theory of love. And so it happens the girl who would pull at his heart strings would be Nandini. If you think of it, there is not much to wonder. Dhurdhara is a lost case. Apart from having the glittering title of being his childhood best friend, she has nothing to bring to the table of the now maturing and ruling king of Magadh. She will always be, until her expiry, his insuferable comic relief.

HElena on the other hand had an opportunity to be his lady love; until she lost it all the first time by telling him that he is king because of her. OH, hell no. You don't get to slap a man's ego in that way and expect him to be bewitched by him

Nandini had challenged him to. During her stupid days of being Nand Putri, she had at numerous time called him a coward and challenged his manhood. Chanakya took care of that fairly well with the consummation of his marriage to Dhurdhara. Upon the death of her siblings and father (at that point of time) Nandini stopped calling him coward. And further into her days as his wife, she is the one who has offered him support and her most shining quality is her lack of ego.

POOR DURDHARA, EVEN THOUGH SHE CARRIES THE HEIR, HER IMPORTANCE IS ZILCH. EVEN TILL TODAY SHE HAS THE SAME I-AM-SCARED-OF-THE-KALEJA-EATING-HELENA SCENES 😆 HOW UTTERLY BORING AND STALE THEY HAVE BECOME 😡

I THINK CVS SHOULD SERIOUSLY THINK OF REPLACING HER DIALOGUES

The CV's should just get rid of her. No need to replace dialogues. Her stupid Kaleja Khayenge rubbish never stopped. I mean as dumb as you are, you cannot expect your husband's first wife to eat her heart/liver? Isnt the queen carrying the king's child protected?
