The evidence was by no means insufficent. Kings are not Gods to forsee everything. Chandra's decision was just, considering that Dhurdhara has seen Nandini push Chaya and there being poison in the medicine Nandini brought for Chaya.

Since something dramatic awaits us on the serial, and since we have it from very good sources, the director himself, I wonder if it is Chandra's Dhai Kilo Ka Haath which is going to bring down the wall brick by brick, or if he has had the resourcefulness to bring along with him a few wall breaking instruments like a crowbar or hammer perhaps to bring down the wall?

Nissandeh...He will tear down the wall brick by brick himself so that it doesn't hurt Nandini within. And will weep and flood Pataliputra in the process. And surely will bang himself against the wall as he failed to see the truth in Nandini's eyes. After saving her he will also have 2 mandirs constructed - one for Nandini and one for Jodha's Kanha. (Btw, weren't Mauryans worshippers of Lord Shiva? Nands too?? That is how it was portrayed in CAS and other ChandraGupta Shows. I was quite surprised to see the Kanhaa statue suddenly in the palace. As if he hadn't heard enough laments from JB, Nandini was throwing her share too at him. He must by now have the ear plugs permanently fixed in his ears)

I see that Deewar Bell Ringing scene swimming before my eyes and Chandra having an argument with Vidhata to save Nandini!

Of course it will materialise on Monday.

You know I write much better stuff in my FF. I would love to be proved wrong! But the way this track has gone, there seems nothing to be left but for all this to play out. At least, we would see the end of all this!

Aunty, I did read the poison acclimatization angle. I understand it too. But the people who need to be explained now are the CVs. I doubt if they were clever enough and are going to give this clarification on the show for Chandra's actions, the reason for his survival, etc, unless they were personally guided by you in all these logistics, or if they were haunting this thread constantly. It is going to go down as one of those unexplained things and unclosed loops in a TV show.

I had typed out a detailed rebuttal of this post of yours, but I have lost it and I do not have the energy to do it all over again. False verdict based on insufficient evidence, forsooth! You try defending yourself in court today under the same circumstances and you would get a life sentence before you know where you are.

Aunty the evidence is no doubt damning but Chandra will be self-condemnatory all the same. He has blamed himself for much more with much less justification elsewhere on the show.

If I feel up to it, I will try and reproduce my post tonight. I thought Sandhya had spared me the trouble, but she too is one of the rudaali bunch, it would seem, after her opening para! Don't you kids ever get tired of all this lachrymose stuff? Over and over and over again? I am already as bone weary of it as poor Chandra looked on last night. Of course it is my fault entirely, for not having stayed clear of all this!
