I do not understand why dadi wants Nnadini to be chief Queen?
Both have done something for magadh and bharat and its citizens
She humiliated Dhurudhara the next emperors mother saying she is commoner so cannot be a chief Queen
Then helena too is commoner only how is she emperors daughter? is she not alexanders servant commander in chief daughter by birth?
Chandra himself is a herdsman son in that sense he has just become royal
Nandini was never royal be it by birth or by character
She was born to a barber and avantika(who was another mans wife) illegally(without real husband knowlegde by cheating)
Suddenly she talks of people, languages spoken in magadh and nation
Where was this love of people when mura was being whipped in public in market in front of hereyes?
Where was this concern for people in jail who were flogged for not accepting her gifts?
Where was this care of magadh when her dad was unleashing terror?
I feel its shock a khokla love for nation and magadh from her

majority marriage in india(and asia) is arranged and for some benefits like dowry, property, position etc
love marriages very rare
so does that mean all husband marry wife and just leave her to her fate not bother to give her any rights of wife(like chandra doing with helena and dhurudhara)
His family mura, dadi too treating them with disdain giving all respect and rights to nandini
