Now I am catch up with episodes after reading post and Rajat's work is excellent and as you said those chudails were 😆 like the jealousy factor. Like that comparison with weather in main post.

Mitali my dear,

It is so nice to hear from you after a while. Have you read the main post? And my mini on page 4 about last night's episode? I had recommended Peshwa Bajirao there.

I too loved the opener for Bajirao , but no, I am not going to write on it. I never took up two serials at a time even when I was in good health, and now I can barely do a post a week for this show, which I am going to stay with for Rajat.

I plan to enjoy Bajirao the way I did with Maharana Pratap and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, in peace and quiet!😉

Today I watched first episode of Bajirao and it was very good. Bring some hope for us. Are you going to write on it?

I don't think it is a possibility..Reason:
Nandini was born after he murdered Sishunag and married Avantika. If Roopa was the result of his pre-samrat days, she must be quite old, even older than Chandra.

An excellent point, due to which the wheels of brain have now churned this idea - he got a daasi and Avantika pregnant at the same time, that naughty Nand!

And BTW, how many of Avantika's sons were illegitimate, i.e., born to Nand, when she was still married to Sishunag?
all 9

And what does Aapama gain out of this?
Why to get rid of Nandini from Chandra's heart of course. She has promised her darling daughter that she will ultimately be the queen of his heart, no?
I doubt if Helena even knows about this duplicate Nandini and the Sunanda- Roopa- Aapama conspiracy.
If Roopa has come to replace Nandini and settle with Chandra, why does she work so hard to drive a wedge between Chandra and Nandini by moving closer to Malay and kindle his jealousy.?
This is something I don't get either. This woudl make sense for Aapama but not Sunanda, right? Because why would Sunanda go through so much trouble to get rid of Chandra when it is easier to just seduce him and hammer him to death?
Or if Sunanda's aim is to eliminate Chandra, who will be the successor to Chandra ?
I have been wondering out loud too. Lest she wants to claim the throne for herself. Or she may have another 10 look-alike Nand-putras stashed someone like how she she stashed Roopa until now
And what would be Nand's stand ? Even if he attacks Magad , kills Chandra and becomes king once again, who will be his successor? All his sons but one have already been killed and remaining one is not mentally sound. At least his beloved daughter is the Queen of the Magad Samrat Chandra now.

He will make new ones Aunty. Why cry over the dead, when you can make more? The way he has been very proudly showing of his abs (which is rather distasteful for a king or a father!) is like an advert for fertility clinics.

Does Nand know that Malay had entered Magad to marry Chayya ? Is it also his plan? So that Malay can make use of his closeness to Chandra to get rid of him ?
I doubt this. I doubt that Nand will ever have dealing with Malay after Malay being the reason he has been ousted

What is the status of Malay in Chandra's kingdom, other than being a palace-jawai?
Does he have any other duty or responsibility?
Most important ones - like failed attempts of murder and seduction

About the latest episode:
Why didn't Chandra suspect about "Nandini"'s long nails? Didn't he notice that Nandini didn't have such long nails when she was lying by his side on that night and during the pooja when they were making the Lingam?

The man gave such lame excuse as i need to stay awake so that i can wake you up on time, when all he wanted to do was use any excuse to snuggle up to her. In fact he was fast asleep when the daasi came to wake him up. Dont think he noticed the finger nails...while being magnetically pulled to her face.

Again, this Roopa leaves the room after smoking heavily and enters Chandra's chamber. She hugs Chandra tightly for a few minutes.. Couldn't he smell tobacco on her? 😕

Oh, aunty...not only you are good at Haikus, you are also good at asking the right questions.

Saraswathi Aunty.

My dear Sri,

You are such a sweetheart, for all that you praise me too lavishly!🤗 As for being able to see things in a broader perspective, that is one of the advantages of having been in my profession of all of 38 years, and also of being that much older!

This said, I am very glad that you are coming around to my point of view about the current track. You will see, once you are in the proper frame of mind, there will be a lot of fun all around, mostly centred on Roopa and Chandra, and of course poor bewildered Nandini.

For one thing, Chandra deserves to be taken down several pegs for that Kitne the?, the benighted idiot! I am glad to see that this process has already begun. Methinks Roopa knew perfectly well that it was Chandra behind her, and still she calls him Malay quite deliberately.

How does one bring cheer to the gloom that descended in my mind after seeing my Adarsh Jodi being sidelines for a good while ? Read the small post from Akka .

Very nicely analyzed and you have treated this track with that Diplomat's eyes who is forever predicting the future course.

I am beginning to acquire a different set of eyes to see them not in FF mode.

Sorry to sound like an excited kid but Is n't this one of the good jobs you do out here i.e to open our eyes and minds to look at things from a broad perspective ? Strange as it may seem to come to a much younger lot. That says a lot about your openness.

Well, my dear Sarika, I am allergic to what are called TV social dramas. They are invariable junk, and with very, very few exceptions, I never watch them

I am so happy that you have the same point of view as mine.
As an outsider I have never make any special attention to the rest of the historical characters except Siddhrtha Gautama and Ashoka the Great. I began to love Indian hitoricals as the story line up is far far better than the other dramas and the way they bring the royal aspects on screen with huge budget, unlike in my country,is so eye catching. And the most important thing is they always have good actors like Rajat or Mohith Riana or even young Siddharth as you said.

So I prefer historicals and some mythologicals, like DKD Mahadev, for I love refreshing my memories of the puranas, and the Sanskrit slokas. Mostly, the historicals too pall after a while unless there is some actor who holds me, like Rajat or Mohit Raina or Manish Wadhwa. But while they are good, they are far better than socials.

As for Peshwa Bajirao, I live in Pune, which was the seat of the Peshwas. So it holds a special interest for me. The opening episode was excellent.

I've had a look at the 1st episode of it as you recommended it 😊 and that actor Manish Madhwa is very good. God! why didn't CN team have such realistic sward fighting scene for Rajat's entry.. 😕

My dear Akka and Anne,

I am not getting into this tangled web of confusion, for it is hardly as though it is going to be wrapped up neatly in the end with all the loose ends sorted out. But your arguments and objections are spot on, Akka. You have missed your vocation in life. You would have made an excellent lawyer .👏

As I had written in some detail earlier on my last thread, there is no way that I can see to reconcile all the different aims of Aapama, Roopa and Sunanda, with the last being a mystery as yet.Do not also forget what was revealed last night, that Sunanda and Roopa have been working together for a long time, and she calls Sunanda maa.

Anne, have you seen my mini-post on page 4 about last night's episode? It covers the above point and much else.

But one thing seems more likely than most, that Sunanda is Nandini's twin. Let us see.

All this said, I am in full agreement with Anne about her @blue. Chandra needs to be taken down several pegs for that very ugly Kitne the? , and I was glad to see that the process has already begun. And I am with her about Malay and poor bewildered Nandini as well. I very much want Nandini to start asserting herself and giving Roopa a run for her money, instead of simply staring at Chandra with large, tear-filled eyes in a woebegone face.

But one thing, Anne. You are getting very close to the red line and the belan!😉Jokes apart, my dear, I do not like this kind of stuff beyond a point. I am very old fashioned and so are my threads. Do keep that in mind, won't you, if only for my sake?

Thank you to for being there for me, my dear Shailaja. I have got so used to you by now that if you are not around for a day or two I miss you.

I am glad you liked this one and that it lived up to your expectations. This last always makes me apprehensive, even after doing so many posts. It is like an actor as he or she steps on to the stage; it is always like the first time.

Don't fret too much about the current track and try to enjoy it. I agree with you about Malayketu. The actor makes it even worse, with his eternal hamming.

What does your little one say now about the i-phone he demolished? He must be a regular Dennis the Menace!😆

It is very early in the morning here. I have been doing a night out with my little son who seems in no mood to sleep again. I have been eagerly waiting for this post. I knew it would be epic just like the episodes. I was not disappointed. Thank you aunty for writing these posts for us. I am really not liking this Roopa-Nandini-Malayketu Fiasco. It is not ending anytime sooner.
