why teej???

Watching the show after a long time,, and as usual can't get Why they celebrating Teej festival.. neither Nand dynesty nor CGM was Hindu by birth,, they did not even follow Sanatan dharma,, Vedic religion DAT tym detoriating and It was a tym of Rising Jainism Boudhhism.. Both nand and CGM were Jain as far as my knowledge,, CGM even become a Jain monk in later lyf... And as far as my knowledge Jain celebrate only Rath teej, DAT too for another reason not for Shiv parvati.. lingo puja or murti puja came very later in existence during Gupta period.. MATLAB kuch v CVs show banane se pehle basic concept to clear rakkha Karo...

I don't know what was real religion of Chandra Gupta Maurya.
And it is right that on last years of his life he accepted Jain religion.
But it is also true that vedic religion was on its top in this era.
it is also true that ekta mata already has changed many things of that era in her show.

But its known that CGM was not jain by birth , he turned to a jain monk in his old days . even chanakya changed his religion in his last days .

Also Buddhism was spread all over the world after Ashok change his religion.

Well i think they were hindu ...because ashok is also known as 'Devpriya' which mean beloved of Devs(demigods) ...so i think he was hindu by birth .

Also , i just searched that ashok and CGM are counted in the list of best hindu emperors. Also chanakya was a hindu teacher ...and as far i know , people used to teach people from same religions.

Also the Mauryas in today's period are all counted as hindu.

And i feel the same about nanda dynasty ...

@Karna nand dynesty were Jain follower,, I know coz I have dis question in my UPSC exam. Yes Chandra gupt turn Jain monk later lyf bt he was not Hindu for sure.. As far as I know he was a Jain follower who became a monk later. Sanatam Dharm is known as Vedic religion only,, Coz vedas are one of the main and oldest scripture of sanatam dharma or Hinduism.
@Switer,, After the era of Atharva veda,, vedic religions is start detoriating only,, it was the era of Boudhism ans Jainism. Specially Jainism. Boudhism touched its zenith in Asoka and era.. Vedic religion again revived in Sunga dynesty tym...
