Precaps have traditionally been poor predictors of what will actually be shown, 😊 but it will become clear soon.

One strong possibility: Rupa would have flirted with Malay and Chandra would have seen it.

I am really not looking forward to this next Nandini-Rupa confusion chapter. (Wish they had kept it at normal misunderstandings and personality clashes which slowly resolve themselves, but they chose this wacky line instead.)

Right here. 😃

Jalal's hamams were something else. 😳 Though Chandra looks yummilicious in his perfectly chiseled looks, the snankakshs and the sets in general look a little over-opulent and garish. They lack that aesthetically sensuous feels of the hamams. (Please don't ask me what us aesthetic about the hamamkhana...😆...it is more about the feel of the sets)

You are all getting naughtier by the moment, but remember that if you go too far, I have a trusty belan with which to get you kids back to the straight and narrow!😉

Right now, where is my Sandhya? She is the resident hamaam aficionada!😉

So though the things remained nice and sweet in the episode, they get messy in the precap? All this Nandini, Roopa, Malayketu confusion is making Chandra behave in the worst possible manner. But has anyone thought how many Shashtang Namaskars and Angapradakshinams the poor boy will be forced to do round Nandini once he gets to know the full truth? Nandu is not bhaashaning, but do any of you think she will forgive him easily and accept him? She is not at all going to listen to him.

Yes, my dear Anil, it is going to end up as an almighty mess. I had tried to tabulate various options for Sunanda's secret plan a little earlier, in a response to Lavanya, but nothing really jells neatly.

Chandra clearly sees Roopa go into Malay's rooms, even if he does not know what happens there. Presumably this was before the thali jettisoning outburst. That means that Sunanda has pulled Roopa out of that room while Nandini is still around, for the person with the thali is clearly Nandini. Now this is an insane risk for her to take. It is all plain cuckoo, that is all!

It could also be that the thali incident was a reaction to Chandra's foster mother's very badly timed announcement of her having seen prem for Nandini in his eyes. We have a saying in Tamil vedalam murungamarathil eritthu, a very loose translation of which is that the demon is up the drumstick tree and is active. The demon here being Chandra's sense of helplessness in being tied emotionally to a woman who he believes loves another, something he was shown mulling over all of the previous night.

If only that wretched woman had kept her mouth shut, things might have gone much better, for what Chandra remembers when Nandini was at the end of the bhajan was all very positive - her courageous fighting side by side with him, her cradling his head in her lap and trying to save his life, the ease and familiarity with which she puts her hand on his wound. That foster mother of his is a positive menace!😡

As for your preference, the problem with it is that by now, there seem to be no personality clashes at all, as Nandini has withdrawn to a state of docile conformity for the most part.

I agree with you about precaps, they are invariably and deliberately deceptive, witness the last two this week. But the look on Nandini's face as the thali goes flying was superb, she is so shaken and traumatised. I think she will now faint, because of the strain of the fast and this shock on top of it. That will teach Chandra a much needed lesson.😡

OK, there is a demand for the laptop, so I am going off, but did you note something? We are, or at least I am actually looking forward keenly to the next episode, which is really something!😉

So much to catch up with.😲

And i haven't yet commented on the lovely post with a lovelier title. Mrigtrishna...what a beautiful word!!! The desire of the deer to find the source of the fragrance all over in the jungle when it is emnating from within itself. Isn't Chandra too in a similar state??? Looking for something in Nandini, what is well within himself!

Will get back later tonight or tomorrow. 😊

I don't know if our fore fathers were so romantic

Chandranandini Limmericks...

There lived a king who married thrice
Listening to his mentor's sane advice

He dreamed to rule an Akhand Bharat
But alas, ended up as a Harem Samrat!

His duty was to pace the Palace hallways
And lug his queen to the spa always

* * *
There was a villain with pimpled cheek
Who loved a girl who was a Greek

He left her for a better choice
And marry and rejoice

Events changed his fate
The King married both without wait

I think throughout history Romance had a place in human lives in all cultures. But how the love was expressed and visioned has changed over time.

Indian culture has always, i feel, portrayed loving someone equals to being responsible for them in that ensuring their well being is taken care and they are happy. In 3BC people may not have taken up singing around trees, in thin sarees, in the rain with or without a group of fellow dancers in company; but they would have loved and shown love by caring for their loved ones.

You are right about the stepmother being in La La Land. She always try to have this glazed over eyes, while preaching about love when she is the last person who should be teaching about it. The so called love she had for her husband was utter rubbish to me. You do not love someone who has no regards for you or treat you like trash, Love does not make you a floor mat. It should dignify and eleveate you. all of which lacked in her prem. I think Mura was the better person to have said this to Chandra, unfortunately she couldn't.
