What the hell did I just see?!
Were the writers high on something when they wrote today's episode?! Like seriously they have literally butchered Chandra's character. What's the difference between him and Nand or Malyaketu now? He's actually even worse. What's more stupid is they made him justify what he did by telling Nandini that your father behaved the same way with my mother. Like are you kidding me? Chandra knows that Nand was a bad person in many ways and he's someone who wasn't fit to be a king and rule the people and today Chandra molested Nandini and thought it was ok because Nand did it? Now they're making Chandra a sick molester and hypocrite.
Not only they ruined Chandra's character, but they friggen portrayed the scene and shoved it down are throat like it's romantic?! They had that BG music playing in the background 😲 He undressed her forcefully for God's sake! What romance are they talking about? I think the writers truly have no sense or understanding of what romance is.
Some people are actually justifying Chandra's act by saying Nandini asked for it because she tried to kill him first. Still that does NOT give him the right to misbehave with her like that and molest her. He tied her to the bed the whole night I think that could have been her punishment. Why did he have to remove her clothes and forcefully bathe her?
Then they're going to show that Nandini will fall in love with him. How can a girl fall in love with someone who humiliated her by undressing her and carrying her in front of the maids and forcefully trying to bathe her.
What kind of message are the writers giving by this. You can molest a girl if she's your wife because you're her husband? Or you can molest a girl and expect her to fall in love with you? Or it's right for the guy to molest a girl if he's the hero? Or even worse molesting can be romantic. I'm truly shocked and in disbelief from today's episode. I don't know what the writers were thinking when they wrote this scene.
I friggen love this show damn it! and looking forward to Chandra and Nandini's story, but the writers are leaving no chance in ruining it. It's making me so upset and angry bc I'm sure neither I or any of the viewers signed up to watch a king like Chandra molesting his wife and his wife falling in love with him.
