AUNTY I DO WONDER ABOUT THIS WHOLE CHANDRA NANDINI WEDDING. CHANAKYA HAD HIS REASONS WHY HE WANTED IT TO HAPPEN. BUT WHY IS MOORA SO KEEN ON HER FRIENDSHIP WITH AVANTIKA? SHE HAS BEEN THE ONE WHO SUFFERED THE MOST BECAUSE OF AVANTIKA'S TREACHERY. WHY IS SHE SO KEEN ON FORGIVE AND FORGET??

AND YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT HELENA. HE ACT IS ALMOST BORDERING ON IRRITATING THESE DAYS. LIKE A SPOILT BRAT SHE REFUTES EVERYTHING THAT MOORA SAYS AND THEN RELENTS WHEN HER MOTHER INSISTS

HELENA'S MOM HAS SOME VERY GOOD AND STRONG DIALOGUES AS WELL

The aajeevan karavaas does seem to be a mirage, in the literal sense, that is. Not in the figurative sense, however, which was what Chandragupta made clear to Nandini tonight.

The curious thing there was that he seems to have somehow learnt that Nand had wanted to marry Mura and was constantly making overtures to her in prison. Though what he means about approaching his own, duly wedded wife with buri neeyat is difficult to make out. It is only Jodha who was the beneficiary of an open-ended, cooked up zubaan from Jalal that he would not touch her without her consent. Otherwise, the sort of thing that Chandra does tonight went with the territory once a woman was married, especially 2300 years ago.

Helena is getting to be dumber by the day. I feel sorry for her mother, stuck with such an unpromising pupil.😉 For now, she is able to crack the whip and make Helena jump thru hoops. but she will soon be climbing the wall in frustration.

As for Mura, the less said the better. This is what always happens to 'good" people, they get walked over by the likes of Helena.

But if Chandra had been around, Helena would have received a sharp lesson. That lesson will still come once Nandini is married to him. He will not tolerate Helena mistreating her, but will reserve that privilege for himself.

Helena's mother sounded positively clairvoyant about Helena's possible future if she did not grow up, especially the comment Magadh mein raja raj karta hai, rani nahin.

Hello Aunty, after the lackadaisical week post war, and my last ranting post, I didn't feel like commenting anything.

What changed then?

Well, obviously your analysis and this humorous thread.

Aunty, I know, you do not like references, comparisons done to JA, but its really hard not to. Its not viewers but CVs themselves, who are stuck to that show. Few examples being:

lost hriday

prem rant

bachpan ki mitra

dreaded lep...yes, Nandini is the chief vaidya here

tandoorised Nandini, after vish paan

even the scene of Avantika giving vish bottle to Nandini and her reasons were a lift off from JA, where Bharmal does the same.

These are few, I'm sure many more inspirations are to follow soon.

The said finale of a war, which was termed "samhaar" was totally phuss!!!😕 There was nothing final there😡😡😡

I almost am in toto with everything you have said, but one.

I did not see, attacking on Malay's back by Chandra as anti dharma, like peeth pe vaar, not in literal sense, of course.

Malay was still in battlefield and was aware that Chandra was coming after him, he was not caught unaware...it was rather like peeth dikha ke bhagana situation and Chandra caught him.

It can't be compared to what Nandini or Malay did.

Lets just say that Shweta neither has grace nor poise of a Princess...and her characterization as Nandini, is more like a "ek toh karela upar se neem chadha" situation.

Baby Sarasa and Babloo kutty update Chandranandini episodes.

(Grandma was away for 2 days to attend the wedding of one of her relatives. As she never misses even an episode of CN, she had asked Baby's mummy to watch the episodes on these two days and tell her about the progress of the story.

Our Baby Sarasa and Babloo Kutty watched the serial with their mummy and narrate the story to their grandma in their own style..)

G'ma: Hi kutties, what were you doing these two days? Did you behave well?

Baby: I behaved well... but Babloo was nasty..

Babloo: No.. I did not.. ask mummy ..

Baby:Grandma,..He is telling lies.. He did not let us to watch Chandra serial properly..

G'ma: Okay, okay.. don't fight with each other.. So.. you watched Chandra nandini with your mummy..

Babloo: Yes.. Mummy 'llowed us to watch with her..

Baby: Can I tell you the story grandma?

Babloo: I will tell you the story grandma.. She did not watch it properly..

Baby: That's because you were always asking koschens..

Babloo: NO...you only asked many koschens I only asked three koschens..

Baby: grandma, he asked many koschens.. But he knows to count only upto three..

G'ma; That's nice.. now who is going to tell me the story..

G'ma: Shh.. I want to listen to the story.. then what happened..?

Baby: That princess Nandini says something and runs away..

Babloo: But Chandra uncle didn't say anything..

Baby: And then ..there are many girls there and they are making some paste..

Babloo: Yellow paste.. What was that grandma?

G'ma: That must be sandalwood paste..

Baby: And then.. then..

Babloo: There were a lot of girls in the scene grandma...They were talking non stop blah.. blah... blah..I didn't know what they talked..

Baby: Grandma, Babloo slept during the scene.. that's why he didn't know what they talked...

Baby: No grandma..I didn't sleep.. Just "prt'nding" like that..

G'ma: So they showed haldi kumkum ceremony..

Babloo: No kumkum grandma... only yellow paste..

Baby: ..and then they showed Chandra uncle sitting on a stool..

Babloo: Why was there no chair grandma?

Baby: The girl with brown hair comes to take the paste, and suddenly, the bald head old man comes and shouts "stop.."

Babloo: And then they showed the bad king..he was limping .. He also shouts. Then the funny looking old man comes and says something to him..

Baby: They showed the princess sitting , and the girl who was with Chandra uncle comes and takes the paste and puts it on the princess' face..

Babloo: Why should someone put the paste on her? She is big... can't she do it by herself?

Baby: ..and after sometime, Chandra uncle come fast and drags her ..

Babloo: He is lifting her and carrying her like a lamb.. like my daddy do to me..But won't she be heavy?

Baby: Yes.. that's why he drops her in the swimming pool..

Babloo: But why he also jumps in the pool?

Baby: He washes her face with water ...

Babloo: I don't even 'llow mummy to wash my face..when she gives me a bath.. she will scratch me.. I will wash my face myself..

Baby: and he puts some medicine on her face..

Babloo: Where did he get it 'kka?

Baby: From the bald head old man..

Babloo: Is he a doctor?

G'ma: Babloo kutty, he is a doctor, teacher, everything..Okay kiddoos.. It is your bed time now.. go and sleep..

Baby:Don't you want to hear the story on the second day grandma?

G'ma: I will hear it from Shyamala aunty...
