Yeah there are lot of theories regarding cgm. so one cant blame ekta 😳
And in some sources tho Helena Name is fictional name...her real name was deodara and her Indian name was dhurdhra...
Anyways Nand's daughter name was also not recorded according to some accounts..

When there are so many versions in history books, historians themselves contradict from one book to another tho Ekta kya kare bhai!!

People cannot change history. The major source of Chandragupta early reign comes from Mehgasthanes's Indica. The complete original text has been lost. But we know about the early reign of Chandragupta by reference of Indica by major Greek authors.

Pottery and coins are another source of history for early Mauryan empire.

It is really tough to study and understand the history of ancient India as we do not had the tradition of history writing during that period.

Chandragupta ascendance to throne has not much records other than Greek references. His administration is well documented in Kautaliya's Arthashastra. His conversion to Jainism and his departure from the throne is recorded in Jain literature.

His early life is one of the major controversy in Ancient Indian history. The authenticity of the written sources is also a major debate among the historians.
