CGms three wives represent different elements

Dhuradhara - Shadow and water

The shadow that gives a tired person a chance to rest under it(Chandra in this case)

Water that soothes a thirsty and hungry person, it is the basis of life

Water not only quenches thirst but also douses the fire(within) it has an calming effect on mind

In this serial when chandra was hungry, was running from enemies and had no place to go in world he goes to dhuradahra

Also in dhuradhara he forgets all worries and jokes, he is n longer a warrir but a young fun loving man

Helena - Fire and Steel

Helena's anger is like fire, it destroys the person she hates and anyone oppoased to it

Helena's resolve is like steel, the way she trains chandra, frees him and gives him horse to run, the way she believes totally in his conviction to be magadh emperor one day that is astonishing almost unbelievable. Helena very well knows how powerful alexander and Seleucus are, yet she believes a young indian soldier blindly. Ok to get her revenge but she is no fool, she can see a future and hope in chandra.

Helena is also like steel, she has steel resolve and will not rest till she achieves her goal

When Chandra is in trouble its helena who help him escape

Nandini - Air and sand

Nandini is like the fresh breeze of life bubbly and fun loving

But when air becomes a tornado it will destroy all in its way (like nandini will after marriage)

Then she will become the smooth sands of time in chandras life - who will help him find his heart (not that he does not have) and be with him till end of times(thru pain and laughter)
