Anisa is helping her mom out in the kitchen when her mom realises Anisa's missing earrings; Anisa claims to have leant them to a colleague. Anisa's mom then asks her for money but Anisa claims to have spent it on... but her mom quickly dismisses her explanation and states that she will use her bonus money – which she had kept for safe-keeping. Anisa thinks to herself, that she needed to spend the money on buying a suitable gift for Arjun; and begins to daydream! 😉😆😛
In the morning, Arjun is stopped in the corridor by the peon, who hands a card and wrapped gift – Anisa secretly looks on. It's a watch – he smirks, which Anisa mistakes as a smile and leaves; whilst Arjun thinks to himself that how could Anisa think he'd wear such a "ghatiya ghari"?!
Anisa later stops Arjun and asks about the watch, demanding she see's him wearing it. Arjun recollects having thrown it away in a nearby dustbin – and so claims that he's kept it for "special" occasions only; but as he's getting late for a meeting, he will show it to her later.
G tells Anisa that Rahul is looking for her – she heads to see him. A peon notices the watch in the dustbin.
Rahul accuses Anisa for his now quarter-salary; and demands she brainstorms some ideas to fix it! Anisa suggests that they alter the magazine's format/content slightly – although named "Desi Gril" everything in it is international. Rahul is impressed and suggests they both go and meet Arjun with the idea. Anisa is hesitant; Rahul playfully teases her about her apprehension at meeting Arjun. However, they are interrupted by G, who requires a file for Marlyani urgently, as she is on the telephone and needs it to continue her conversation – and so, Anisa stays back to give the file; whilst Rahul continues his quest to meet Arjun.
Arjun approves of the changes but refuses to assign a budget towards it; stating that Rahul will have to arrange the finance himself. Rahul sulkily leaves. Arjun asks his PA about the watch/dustbin search but is informed in the negative.
The peon handing out everyone's tea/coffee is wearing the watch! G and Rahul both comment on it; but Anisa doesn't see it, as the mention of "watch" simply reminds her to seek Arjun.
Arjun is on his mobile shouting at his PA (re: incomplete file) but she tries to explains that she was busy looking for the watch. Anisa appears and demands to see the watch; in his volatile mood he shouts at Anisa and leaves.
PRECAP – Arjun asks the peon to take an envelope and leave it at Anisa's desk; Anisa opens a small gift-box, which holds her earrings and on opening the envelope, she see's Arjun's apology note. Anisa assumes that by way of apology, Arjun has bought back her earrings... (I assume another "daydream"-session will follow ..first Rehaan and now Arjun ..will this girl ever learn from her msitakes?! 😆)
