Apologies for the delay in posting the update today - I had an X'tra practice session this evening ahead of the next football tournament 😳

Update

Anisa heavy-heartedly signs the "confession" letter; whilst a pleased G looks on.

Arjun enters Marlyani's office demanding to know the truth (re: fiasco); Marlyani plays the ignorant card and in the process Arjun throws the wad of coffee-stained notes and the statement; leaving Marlyani speechless! In the meanwhile, Anisa heads towards Marlyani's office, with the signed letter; and overhears Arjun defending/praising her.

As Arjun storms out he is met by Anisa ' who to his horror confirms that she has overheard his conversation with Marlyani. However, to his relief she only heard him defending her (*shakes head dissapointedly*). He notices the letter in Anisa's hand, which he then takes from her and upon reading it he rips it up claiming that there is no need for it since she has done no wrong. Arjun's phone rings and he excuses himself.

Marlyani comes out and begins to apologise to Anisa but on seeing Rahul approaching Arjun, she dismisses her quickly and heads in their direction. Rahul throws a tantrum because Arjun has halved both his salary and allowance; Arjun offers to double both things provided the next project he undertakes makes a profit. Rahul pouts and then turns his attention towards the Anisa matter; Marlyani tenses. Arjun claims it to have been a mere misunderstanding which has now been resolved and he need not worry any further. As Rahul leaves, Arjun points out to Marlyani that he will not always be hiding the truth from Rahul. However, Marlyani appears undeterred.

Anisa meets with Arjun to thank him properly, particularly as he put his own job at risk, at a time when he himself is facing financial difficulties ' she explains to a confused-looking Arjun that she overheard his conversation the other day and as he begins to answer that it was merely relating to his new car, he stops short and changes his story. He then tells her to hold her "Thanks" as he will be asking for a big gift from her very soon; and leaves for a meeting.

Rahul calls Anisa into his office and cuts her story short (re: returning to work) and begins his ramblings (re: halved salary/allowance) but Anisa falls into a daydream - recalling her moments with Arjun. Rahul gives her a reality-check and she suggests that he become the creative director ' profit guaranteed. Rahul is overjoyed by the idea and grants Anisa the remainder of the day off.

Rahul heads to Arjun and puts forward the suggestion. Arjun agrees and rings for a contract to be drawn with a salary of 75,000Rs ' Rahul is horrified to learn that his halved salary is being reduced a further 50%!

G informs Marlyani that she will play with the fact that Anisa regards her and P as her "friends" in order to destroy/remove her from the office.
