It doesn't matter now.. but after watching Chanda today..

They had such superb female actors playing Bindu's wives- Noor, Charu n Dharma, and when the main protagonist Ashok's turn came, all they could find were Kajol and Soumya? Couldn't they conduct proper auditions or something? Even the antagonist's wife Chanda is 10 times better than these two.
The girl who plays Chanda is quite a good actress. Couldn't they have chosen her or someone like her for Kaurwaki?

Devi: The fan favourite of the forum can't act and looks plain stupid when she either laughs or cries 'coz nobody can figure out she's doing which of the two. But guess the forum was too busy mocking Kaurwaki that they failed to notice how pathetic this girl Kajol's acting and dialog delievery skills were to begin with. I am still trying to figure out which scenes of this female qualified as better acting as compared to the other female lead.

Kaurwaki: I wanted a Kareena version of Kaurwaki. What did I get? 'Humein Ashok se bhent karni hai' bulls***t. And for doing this crap, they chose Soumya? Couldn't they find someone better than this diddly-eyed super annoying female who can't even pronounce sanskrit or hindi or any words properly!

I am super angry today. Good that the show is ending.

I agree with you for the first part. They could've found better actresses to play Devi and KVK. But Devi is not a fan favorite of this forum. We all know how bad her acting is nowadays.🤢

For KVK, I wanted a warrior-princess too, not a Juliet waiting for her Romeo. Neither of these two actresses can act.

I'm sorry if that's not the case, but I read many posts and discussions going on in EDTs about how Devi is better than Kaurwaki(the actresses, in terms of acting), that's why I thought maybe she's appreciated over here. Maybe I put my point wrongly, I was also trying to say what you are saying. Both of them can't act, and on top of that they are giving stupid expressions all the time! Neither they have any clue about what voice modulation is.

Somya is a terrible actress and her anglicized hindi is even more terrible.

To be honest Mohit charged high amount per epi and they can't replace whole old(great) cast like bindusar ,charumitra, dharma,Helena etc and they have to cast for other characters also sushim ,siyamk etc so they don't have enough budget for Devi and kaurwaki character so that's why they are here( kajol was unknown before this and somya always get criticized for her bad acting)

Well they could have casted newcomers to solve this issue! Newcomers or lesser known actors who can atleast ACT. Even this guy who plays Sushim seems like a newcomer, but he is an amazing performer. This girl who plays Chanda, she also looks new but I have a feeling I've seen her somewhere. Anyway, she was not popular as Soumya, they could have casted her for cost cutting. I'm sure Soumya must also be getting a handsome amount. She only does lead roles afterall.

Kajol was better than Somya in the initial episodes but she used to irritate me a lot with her overacting.

After marriage, it seems to me like both kajol and somya are giving each other tough competition in bad acting.

Both need lots and lots of improvement.

I agree with the TM that Chanda is definitely a better actress than these two.

I totally agree with you. My biggest problem with Kajol is her weird expressions. They are all over the place. Plus, it seems like she learns all the lines and blurts them out infront of the camera, with an extra dose of expressions, without feeling anything.

As far as Soumya is concerned, poor soul just has one expression. Also, there is a thing called pronunciation and there is a thing called enunciation. She just cannot enunciate. Plus, she makes that puppy face after every two minutes as if she is in some disney fairytale movie. I actually thought she improved a bit with time but within two days I realised what she was doing. When she tries to emote, she forgets to enunciate and starts speaking with an even heavier accent. And when she tries to get her dialogues right with proper pronunciation, she forgets to emote and starts rolling her eyes.

The girl who plays Chanda is not only a good actress but she is also very beautiful.
