Wonderful post!!!ššThis is what CAS is trying to teach us.Love someone marry someone else then marry the one you love and ignore the other one.In Helena's case,I don't consider CAS Helena to be the historical Helena. But then no character in this show bears resemblance to their historical counterparts.Still,CGM and Helena/Cornelia's love story is one which I adore. And already CAS has butchered Helena's character.I am glad that they didn't show more flashbacks with CGM though. Now coming to Bhondusaar's case,I will say that it's solely his fault. He married Noor and on their wedding night,he was blabbering about Dharma. Now I know that Dharma was his true love and stuff. But to think from Noor's POV,which woman would like that her husband is not noticing her on their wedding night but constantly talking about another woman??And I had truly felt bad for Subhrasi.Bindu did not even consider her feelings when Dharma had returned. But what amazes me the most is that even after doing all this Bindu expected his wives to remain loyal and faithful to him.He shouldn't have been surprised to know about Noor's betrayal. After the way he treated her,how can he expect her to be faithful?? Same goes with Charu.I am not saying that I support Noor and Charu's actions.I am saying that their respective actions were the direct consequences of Bindusar's behaviour towards them. Now coming to Ashok, heaven and earth knows about Ashwaki's amar prem ki dastaan. But I am concerned about the one who is caught in between this mess.Devi.The historical Ashok had married both Devi and KVK out of love. But our CAS Ashok has only one true OTTL and that's Qwackwaki. So is that supposed to mean that Devi will turn into Subhrasi 2.0?? Or will she turn into Noor 2.0 or Charu 2.0.I don't want any of these cases. And I wish that Asandhi,Padmavati and Tishyarakshita never enter.I don't want Asandhi or Padmavati to get butchered on the altar of Ashwaki's amar prem kahaani.
Exactly.That's my point.Originally posted by: ankit-pandey24
Agree with you
According to actual history Ashok had married Devi coz he love her immensely and also wanted Mahendra to be his heir but Devi refused by watching such intense and bad politics and went to ujjain to spread Budh Dharma
After Ashok accepted Dharma he went to Devi and Devi also accepted him
The memories of their love is THE SANCHIT STUPA. Sanchi is birthplace of Devi and nowadays in MP
And Ashandhmitra is chief queen coz she is wise knows how to tackle with politics and Ashok and Ashandhmitra love each other
The coz of KWK name to be in Queen Rock Edit is that she was a fisherman girl but she spread Buddhism and this quality attracted Pashok and married her
But in our CAS every good thing happened in Ashok life is due to great KWK and rest are waste for CV'S
Even I was surprised Subha.Dharma's situation was different from that of Charu,Subhrasi or Noor.Their actions stemmed from Bindusar's injustice.I was actually surprised at the way Ashok was justifying his father's injustice with his brother and his wives by comparing them with his mother.
Dharma stayed out of the palace politics for the most part of her life so it never affected her behavior, her nature. But others used to experience the injustice everyday and they tried to end that in their own way.Their actions were wrong but the reason they did all that was one and the same-Injustice!Thank God the show is ending otherwise we would have seen Ashok too doing the same mistakes that CGM and Bindusar did. These last few episodes of Ashwaki torture is enough for us.I don't want season 2 of more Ashwaki torture.

Every wife of Ashoka had impacted his life in one way or other. His first two marriages to Devi and KVK were out of love. His marriages to Asandhimitra and Padmavati were political alliances. And his marriage to Tishyarakshita was out of necessity and attraction.Personally I don't believe in the concept that you fall in love only once and that love is your one true love.Otherwise why some marriages fail nowadays?? Even if they are love marriages.Ashoka was a human being. It was natural for him to love more than once.It was realistic too.And he was Ashoka The Great only because of himself. Not because of his parents, his teacher or any of his wives. It was his destiny which he earned through his own merit. This is why CAS annoys me to death. They are showing that KVK is the driving force behind Ashok. They are showing that Ashok is nothing without KVK which is unacceptable to me.
