I would like to visit different eras, but if only once then I would definitely like to visit Dwapara Yug to witness Mahabharata.

I would like to see how these mighty warriors viz. Bhishma, Pandavas , Karna & the Almighty Krishna actually looked like in real.

If had a Chance, one should not miss the opportunity to See the Big temple. As the name suggest it is really Big temple in size. It beauty lies in its architehtural brilliance. It was built in 1010 A. D dedicated to Lord Shiva. The vimanam is 216 ft in height & tallest in the world. The big Nandi carved out of single rock measures 16 ft length & 13 ft height. The lingam measures 9 ft in height & 23.5 ft in circumference. U know what, on the right side of the wall of the gopuram, Raja Raja cholan carved inscriptions which is almost like a will. The only differnce is the inscriptions not only mentions about the donations given by the king but also given by common people even if a common man has donated a small mud lamp. The inscriptions also acts as an record book showing what is the name of the chief architect, chief sculpturer along with how many temple staff, priests, dancers were engaged with their names too.It is mentioned in the inscription that 1000 staff plus 400 dancers along with the temple priests are hired. It is really surprising how the built a magnificient temple like this when there was not any modern facilities. Really dont miss the opportunity if U have one to visit this great temple.
