I will put up the gudi and have a typical festive lunch with my wife and kids. I have lots of childhood memories attached to this day, one of which is my mom forcing me to eat a neem and jaggery preparation. I didn't know it then, but later I got to know that the bittersweet mixture has Ayurvedic properties. I follow the tradition and give it to both my daughters.
