The only thing that is still Daanavta in Sushim is he is scared of anything sacred like Temple's bells and Tulsi leaves otherwise he is not daanav at all.

What was the first competition about?Princesses riding horses? Then why only kaurvaki was declared the winner?Anandini and Chanda also rode horses successfully so both of them should be the winners too.

Exactly. You don't really picture a daanav asking for half of the treasury Kaundana brought up. You see a daanav killing Kaundana and Siamak and keeping the entire treasury. Sushim is to Daanav as Ashok is to Chand. A pathetic joke.

Also I want a Princess fighting round. What makes the perfect queen, one that has balls to protect her kingdom.

Kaurwaki will win every single round, declared the perfect bride, and then Sushim and Ashok will fight over who gets to marry her. Ashok won't let Sushim marry KVK, but he himself won't marry Kaurvaki in order to protect her. In the ultimate stunt, he marries Devi and breaks KVK's heart, because she thought that he was hers and hers alone. Unable to digest this, she returns to Kalinga where she shows up alive in front of Jagganath. After the initial pleasantries, Jagganath gets pissed off again because Kaurvaki ran away instead of staying in the camp. He bans her from exiting Kalinga again and starts looking for proposals.

Meanwhile, Ashok is pining for Kaurvaki and unable to focus clearly. Devi continues to ship AshWaki because that's why she got married to him - to understand Ashok's mind and figure out why AshWaki isn't a thing. The dream of Akhanda Bharat comes to a slow stop, but one day while hunting (carefully planned by Devi), he catches a glimpse of Kaurvaki talking to imaginary Ashok. He listens in on her conversation and realizes that even though she is still so far away and after what he did to her, she still loves him and believes that he will complete the dream of Akhanda Bharat. That's when Ashok goes to Kalinga and confronts Jagganath. He engages in a series of competitions to prove his worthiness and loyalty and in the end, he and Kaurvaki wed. Devi finds happiness in AshWaki being back together and when she asks to leave - so AshWaki can be just that, Kaurvaki stops her and thanks her for giving the ultimate sacrifice. Devi tries to leave, but Kaurvaki stops her saying that if Devi could make such a big sacrifice, then so could she - and she accepts Devi as her sister and co-wife. They hug each other.

Seeing AshWaki together, Sushim is pissed off. He tries to kill Kaurvaki because if he couldn't have her, no one could. He goes to attack Kaurvaki, but Dharma stops him. Unable to control his demonic rage, he kills Dharma. That's when Ashok goes nutjob crazy and kills everyone and everything.

In the end, Ashok becomes a Buddhist monk, renounces his kingdom and goes into the forest to meditate with his wives and they live happily ever after, until of course, they die.

The end.

.. oops, got a little carried away (this is of course fiction and has little to do with Ashoka history)

Haha everything is related to KWK. Sushim even tries to kill her when it should be Devi. 😆 When is she becoming the Chief Queen ? 😆 This show is a joke in the name of history.
If the competition was about riding horses then KWK lost the competition. She was the one who fell from the horse. She was alive only because of Ashok. So how come she is the winner ? 🤔

Watch the Mahaepisode as well as yesterday's that I missed and since we're all on the Mahaepisode today, I'll keep my review to that.
The Dharma-Charu scene was fabulous. Charu sneaking into Dharma's room, Dharma welcoming her and doing her hair, those snotty remarks from Charu, and the applaud-winning replies of Dharma... these were just too good.

Then Bindusar enters and he once again shuns away Charu for Dharma. We get it ... Dharma is love, Dharma is life, Dharma is the essence in spice ... but still, this characterization of Bindusar is getting pretty old. Subrasi is no longer even a minor character in this show.

One thing that really bothers me are the types of competitions that are being done. When everyone here was mentioning how Kaurvaki won the horse riding challenge, I was perplexed thinking I had missed that episode. Turns out, there wasn't really a challenge at all. It was just getting on a horse and riding it. That being said, I think the goal was to ride the horse and then hold onto it for dear life and then fall off it. Either that or they are just giving Kaurvaki first place because someone sabotaged her seat. Which brings me to the cooking competition. Okay, so Siamak ends up poisoning the dish. So what exactly are the royal food tasters doing? Shouldn't they be tasting the food BEFORE the princes eat, you know ... like they did before? Or is it because it's a competition with royal princesses that these food tasting rules don't apply, in which case, how do we know these princesses are friends or enemies in disguise?

In terms of the princesses, I'm drawn towards Chanda. She's the most real out of the other princesses. Next comes that girl who came because her mom forced her. I can't stand the eater, the obsessed one, and the obsessed two.

Devi - as the never dying AshWaki shipper - is pointless. Her character is being used in a silly way and is under utilized. Kajal is a great actress from what I've seen thus far, and this current Devi is a huge hit on Kajal's talents.

Also, in a food tasting competition, why exactly are none of the princes eating anything? They skip over the first two (one burned the roti, the other ate all the ingredients -- ever so classy CVs, ever so classy). And Chanda's food isn't eaten because of the Tulsi. Basically, this is a cooking competition where no prince is willing to try the food. Yeah, that's smart.

And finally, the self-pep-talk scenes. To describe in two words -- puke festival. Both Ashok and Kaurvaki's double appearance as they conversed with themselves was sad, boring, and cringing.

While Kaurvaki talked, I found myself thinking .. 'what's more worse than one Kaurvaki on the screen, two Kaurvakis.' ... sigh.

Overall, the Mahaepisode is watchable and decent. I'd give it a solid B.

They probably just gave it to her because she almost died and the King of whateverplacesheisfrom might be pissed off 😆😆😆

There once was a girl name Kaur Wacky,
Oh so annoying and very tacky.
She met a man who was quite a shock,

That is why she is so crappie.

Not a great one, but hey ...

Brilliant. 🤣

Apparently Subhrasi has found better things to do.I feel that Charu is gearing up for another round of impersonating Dharma. That's why she was fishing among Dharma's cosmetics.Earlier she wanted a hip chain 'exactly' like that which Dharma uses.

Ashok (pre-leap) had put an end to the custom of using food tasters in Magadh when one of them got poisoned by sampling food intended for him.

Speaking of the princesses, I like Chanda best too. She's beautiful, kind, gracious and a skilled horse woman and an excellent chef too. It's a pity both Sushim and Kaurwaki run roughshod over her.Though, she has Charu's seal of approval.Which has to count for something.

Vit has gone down in my estimation.Cheating is not ok when the other princess's mom tried to sneak in recipes.Apparently it's all fine and dandy if Kaurwaki does it.Double standards.😡 I guess CAS has art imitating life in that the cheaters get away with all the glory.

Oh that's right, I remember that part now. You have an amazing memory Capri. 😛

I sort of want to see some Chanda + Ashok scenes now. In the spirit of making each person jealous, maybe Chanda can jump in and make Sushim jealous by flirting with Ashok.

Vit is now an Ashwaki shipper. Dare I say that standards drop automatically.
