ashok is not a romantic hero , he is remembered 4 his greatness, 4 ruthlessness , 4 cruelty definitely not 4 luvstories. I thing they r destroying chand ashok story with bringing romance in it, may be pre leap ashok had feelings 4 kaurvki but he was much more focussed person , kaurvki was not his first priority coz he had much imp things in life than kaurvki but now after his responsibilities r very hard very challenging , it will challenge how & why will bindusar allow ashok in magadh , what radhagupt & nayak does 4 d re arrival of ashok coz I think a major track is coming up in which ashok will become governor of Ujjain. they should send kaurvki was some holiday with her diya , currently she is not needed in d scenerio, as she had nothing 2 do in current track except mooning 4 ashok. I think when ashok was drunk CVS want 2 show how alone & lonely ashok is , he needs someone 2 pour out his inner turmoil coz he is burning inside, but they show it. was his dreaming 4 kaurvki. it was stupid ,

in any case, if we look closely then from the very first episode the show has been about showing off grand VFX and constumes.. if only they had spent that much effort in making the story logical..

i admit that a lil bit of dramatization and fictionalisation is necessary for entertainment purposes, but when the PH has not worked on their basics then how can the actors deliver??

i had written somewhr here tht "its clear that Bindusar and Dharma had done a poor Family Planning.. their second kid is born when Ashoka is as good as 16-17 yr old when he is exiled. now after a leap of 10 yrs Ashoka (who is clearly doing rigorous manual jobs to sustain himself) is 27.. his face bears unmistakable signs of hard work.. a manual worker is always say pretty chiselled out ... whereas Dharma seems to have gone 10 yrs back in time when she was a maiden... does'nt it bother anyone?? Dharma's face shud have shown same amount of strain (even more) since they are not living in a palace anymore, there is no reason for her to look as young a daisy... now who is at fault? the actors or the PH?? its clear that they have not worked t get their basics right... this is one of the major points where the show lacks strength..

either they shud have changed Dharma post leap or they shud have done a proper make up on her so as to look more presentable.. CAS is not a regular soap operas we see daily..as an aware audience its our right to expect the CVs and the PH to do their background work meticulously"

Now those criticising the post leap team.. how can they ignore the glaring errors done by the PH?

The bar and the belly dancers did remind me of SRK's Ashoka.Even if they are trying to copy the movie,it's too late for that now.

Firstly i don't understand that why shud Mohit carry the legacy of Siddharth Nigam as Ashoka?

About Dharma.Well,Pallavi is a fine actress but it is a truth that no amount of makeup can make her look like Mohit's mom.Even Charumitra looks like Sushim's wife rather than his mom.

The main culprit here is the PH.They cannot execute a story properly.I know that dramatization and distortions are a part of every historical show.But the content should be historical too.Here,the story is running on distortions.

The actors cannot be blamed for this.Every actor in the show be it before or after the leap did his/her job perfectly.

But what can the actors do if the characterization and writing is not up to the mark??

Exactly.DKDM had distorted many facts.But they stayed true to the Shiv Puraan.The execution and writing was brilliant.Moreover,it was DKDM which reintroduced the trend of Mythological shows on TV and attracted audience from all age groups.And the talented actors were like the cherry on the top of the cake.

As I said I left watching the show and then started again knowing mohit will be playing ashoka

And yes like someone said ashwaki should have resurfaced after they meet and not like this
