A Moment of Silence for the Cutest Mauryan RajKumar ... Drupad

Today, March 16th, 2016 marks the day where Drupad Maurya meets his unexpected fall. Murdered by the Creatives of CAS, once again another supporter of Ashok bites the dust. The sad part - no one expected this at all; especially not the imaginative audience.

This only son of Subrasi, though destined to never be Samrat, never showed any signs of greed for the throne. He was happy being the youngest, munching on ladoos, and being a darling sweetheart. He cheered for all three of his brothers, and while he liked his Bratha Ashok, he never failed to give his love to his other two brother, regardless of how mean they were to him.

This little angel met his end when Indrajeet shot an arrow meant for Bindusar at the same time Ashok shot his arrow. As stupidity would have it, the CVs made innocence personified the target of their hell-bent rampage and had him face the pains of being pierced by an arrow. He loved Ashok a lot, and has saved Ashok quite a few times ... but with his last breath, our chotte samrat of the day was unable to save Ashok from once again being framed for something he did not do.

Today, March 16, 2016 -- Drupad breathed his last. Whatever presence remains on screen will be that of a corpse. No longer will we be able to enjoy his dialogues, his smiles, his cuteness, and his bravery. No longer will we be able to silently cheer from our hearts as he moves as graciously as the wind to save Bratha Ashok. No longer will we be able to grin, with tears in our eyes, at the bonding between Ashok and Drupad.

Please take a moment of silence and post your wishes for this gem of a joyful character. Goodbye Drupad Maurya, you were very much loved; and Ayaan you were brilliant. Props to being a wonderful actor and I wish you the very best on your future endeavors little man!

(Also feel free to post stuff for Ayaan as well since we won't be seeing him on screen anymore.

Drupad was a shining light of goodness amongst all the negativity in Pataliputra. He was overlooked most of the time and overshadowed by his brilliant brothers. But our Nanhe Samrat was always brave and gracious and never gave in to negative emotions. Credit should be given to Ayaan for the wonderful way he portrayed Drupad.Once he was given something significant to say and do, he let Drupad come to life and stole all our hearts.

Remember Subhrasi's dasi who was thrown over the balcony by Charu.I don't remember her exact words. But she said something to the effect that everything is always about Sushim and Siamek. But nobody remembers Prince Drupad. But that's not so.He's a credit to his mother Subhrasi who raised him to be the only Mauryan Prince who didn't want the throne. The irony is that he's the first Prince to fall in the race for the throne. He is the greatest of them all.And he'll forever stay young, handsome, brave and virtuous.

nice post ..

very sad ending for Dhrupad.😭😭... and one more blame on Ashoka..

I hope Ashoka and Bindusara find out who is the real culprit. and give proper punishment... that will be fitting tribute to Nanhe Samrat.. a real prince of Magadh who stole our hearts...

Very true...he won our hearts... it's really sad to bid him goodbye...he breathed his last in ashoka's arms ...it must be very difficult for ashok to deal with it. In taxila also he had seen soo many supporters who passed away right in front of him. He was like a sunshine in people's life and brought positive environment around him...Will truely miss this cute nanhe samrat.

Adorable Dhrupad my cutie pie, I will miss you so much.

You were the only sensible stable character of CAS and the CVs couldn't bear it. They had to finish you off, in other words, anything sensible.

Ayan, sweetheart, you are a wonder kid. You won all our hearts with your innocence, sweet smile and lovely acting. You won so many fans for you in just a couple of episodes. Amazing! God bless you dear kid! May you be successful in all your endeavors.

You will be missed very very much.

Awesome post Shyam👍🏼
Its so unfortunate that Drupad lost his life.Cvs put an end to another positive character who was close to Ashok. He entertained evryone with his cuteness and witty lines...never held any kind of grudge for his brothers.had grt respect and love for Ashok and wanted to be like him.Ayan portrayed the last scene on death bed very well!!!🤗
We'll truly miss our Little Samrat Drupad Maurya😭
