Last week, when i was reading the posts in ASHOK (CSA) forum i came across the link to old chanakya serial which aired in Doordarshan. Let me tell you it looked class apart. Though no graphical lion was used, no Graphical Mahal or palace. The characters were strong & most importantly SUCH GOOD STORY TELLING AND SCRIPT. There were conspiracy, double games were played, it was really a very neatly done show, They showed those aspects of Chanakya's life which made him week but he came out doubly strong in a logical way 😆😆and every character had something unique to tell

Even the NDTV Imagine show CHANDRAGUPTA was not bad actually. It was not taking such TYPICAL INDIAN TV SERIAL which this show has taken.

Though technology has vastly improved, and loads of things changed I really feel sad that commitment and work shown by the people back in those days does not even exists today

I agree Ekta Mata has changed the way indian TV worked, those were the best days back then where even India had finite no. of series on TV, where quality was never compromised on quantity. After Ekta Mata conqured the TV we are getting crap for years & Years &😳...😳& it continues😳😭...now producer Rashmi Sharma has joined the race 🤣with meaning less seaming, plotting yikes...what the hell do the think of the Audience man🤬

I would have loved seeing a show on Ashoka which would have lasted for 1 year but instead of crap which they are showing now would have shown us quality stuff. Which is closer to Reality at least a little. We as audience deserve it ya

I lost complete interest in CSA long back

1. Dharma is so helpless as hell always

2. AShok , though is shown strong but there is something a miss

3. and never ending REPRESENTATIVE NEGATIVE CHARACTERS

I heard had read that the Real Ashok was mean, may be by circumstances or by the arrogance he was bit merciless. it was slowly he came over these things until the final kalinga war...

There should be challenges but it really gets so annoying to see the same woodo, same Helena taking Firangi Hindi with sharp expression's, same Sushim getting away 99% Scott free even if he has done worst of things, same Bindu who is blind enough to no see any of this ever.

I have nothing much to say... Hope in Future we get some Historical show with Quality, AND DEFINITELY NOT QUANTITY just for them to keep running for years and years

Despite the abominable crap they dish out, especially EK -- Rashmi whatever is too obviously rubbishy to waste time on -- they never get punished.

Yes there will be minor rebukes, but EK will never be so harshly punished ( in the way we expect Sushim and Charu to be punished) that she will not dare to start another travesty of a drama.

Ekta will create another magical pair who will go hiss and kiss and all will be forgotten and within no time the forums will be full to overflowing with 'haai marjaawaan' sighs and FFs on eyelocks.

Ekta's stories get the boot only after they have been fully destroyed by her which is usually after a couple of years.

The reason most soaps model themselves after EK's rubbish is because she manages to sell the most illogical story with a pair of good-looking leads. Once the viewers are addicted, she fills the screen with vamps and villains who become bigger than the leads.

If writers of crap do not get punished by the viewers, their vile and negative creations too will not get punished.

In fact, Ekta is the mirror image of her own negative creations. She thrives and they in turn thrive.

Like Shushim and Charu, and their counterparts in JA, who are destructive and vile but will not get punished, EK too does not get the punishment she deserves.

I would love to go back to old DD days. I would love to get quality fare and intelligently written script.

If we wish for CAS not to become a JA ,then Ekta has to be punished -- not after two long years but the moment she starts a story.

The message has to go out loud and clear that negativism for the sake of negativism will not be tolerated.

That is the only way to stop EK and the many clones she has spawned.

It is good the TRPs of CAS crashed. And am glad this has happened early into the story.

Am sorry for venting but I cannot bring myself to forgive EK for what she has done to the TV industry.

Unless EK's gory imagination and products are uprooted and destroyed, we will never have the quality fare we are so eager for.
