hi guys...i m new to this forum..but i have read almost all discussions here..

well..i think they will show Ahankara as Asandhimitra as i have read it somewhere that Ashok was

already married to princess Asandhimitra before Devi...

but i believe that Devi and Asandhimitra as the same person...what do you think?

ya maybe but it could be very offending to history as ashandi or any of ashoks wife never had any affair with sushim..so ashok an ahan r better off as frns

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

sorry dear , but if asandhimitra (and devi are not same) then she got married to ashok when is was 16 and he was 34.

and devi and ashok got married at 16 , 18 repectively.

they are the same person as of i read out.

i will post some facts or contemprary writings which proves devi and asandhimitra the same. 😳

yeah..i too believe both devi and asandhi the same..but everytime i try to know more about them they

appear to me as different..the main fact that confuses me is that asandhi was childless and devi was

not..but infact of all these confusions, i would love to hear someone say they are same😊

@crazy4uash thats the same confusion for me too.. bt still I think they r same.. coz the name Sanghmitra matches more with Asandhimitra ryt? Well dats my silly finding 😆
I wish I get some prominent historian s research book.. I really hope CAS shows them same... bt there is general negativity towards Devi for some.. donno why..

Ahamkara's changing sides was not overnight.

She was an arrogant princess but was not heartless. She could have run away during the lakshgrah incident but she wasn't impressed by what her father did and she stayed becAuse she had feelings for sushim. She had never in her wildest dreams thought that sushim would turn so cruel towards her. He was always very nice to her.

You have to understand where she's coming from. Sushim hating her was a wake up call for her. She realized that all that giltters ain't gold after all. Ashoks friendship was all she had. She had no choice in the matter. Plus, it's not difficult to like or befriend someone who is with you in your hardest times. Especially when you have no one to run to. Even her mother wont listen to her.
