This drama is needed for the ratings!!...If u look at the TRPs then its continuously rising. Once the show gets above certain TRP they will start with important tracks. They cant wind up the show in matter of 3-4 months with the real facts. A channel will always invest in the show that generates long term profits. Right now Ashoka is generating 2.7 TRP means 5.8 million viewership which is more than Colors flagship show Balika Vadhu and other dramas. So i have no problem with some fiction elements in a historical show. Agree it dragged in last 2 epsds but it was needed as they were shooting round the clock since 2-3 months for 1-hour telecasts. Now i guess the pace will return and also don't forget we have IPL matches too coming up in April May.

funny Aparupa , totally agree with you. I totally love this show but the current track is stupid. I wish they show real history with some mirch masala but not fiction. I stopped watching Jodha Akbar after they showed such senseless tracks with Ruqaiyya Begum as the central character, then I watched Maharana Pratap that too went the fiction way so stopped watching. I really hope that this show doesn't go the same way, the actors are really good.

😲exactly.you know,after the end of DKDM, i felt that this show make up for its absence,somehow.but now i am realizing, it is no way close to dkdm.😭expecting some proper story ,acted by a the casts[the actors are good].

i am just sick and tired of this hide and seek game,played by Dharma,😡😡its high time for the makers to portray some actual stories,or else,the ;'lal mere' song would be played daily🤢😆
