Hello people! Hope u guys enjoyed today's episode, cuz I definitely did.
It starts with Justin contributing his part in framing Ashok. However Sushim brings soldiers to check Ashok's belongings, the roots getting discovered before time. Originally it was planned that Ashok is to be discovered after Bindusara is attacked solidifying the blame. But our dear annoying His Bratiness for the first time in his life indirectly unknowingly saved his brother by getting evidence against him before time. This is the first strike against the plan. I had thought that either Chanakya or Ashok will be the ones to disrupt the plan but instead it was the most unlikeliest character who did it.
Ashok is back in his iron bindings again. Seriously every other time he gets blamed.
Back to court time!
Helena blathers against both Ashok and Chanakya. Bindu under pressure sends someone to search Chanakya's quarter and lo behold, a letter from Kalinga aiding the coup with their military.
Helena puffs up smug.
Then enters the actual hero of the show. One and only Chanakya. A big round of applause đ
True to his reputation Chanakya makes the Samrat realize that the proofs against him were found too quickly. He heavily hints abd Bindusara catches on quickly. Chanakya runs through his investigation. Apparently he had suspected something foul the moment had found the dead man with that letter. He had met the Samrat in secret urging him to send a small inconspicuous team of men to determine Unani's actions. This gave credibility that Chanakya wasn't trying to drive a wedge between Magadhians and Unani's.
Adding to that Chanakya's investigation gives him a new name. Amatya Ugrasen. Unfortunately by the time soldiers reached him, he was killed. Slaughtered by Helena and Justin's man.
Ashok is freed and Helena's face resembles a sour lemon.
Helena wonders where the assassin was?
The said assassin is getting roughened up by the soldiers, Chanakya's force to be exact. Radhagupta question the intelligence of hiding this from the Samrat. Chanakya reveals that he was already two steps ahead of the conspirators. He knew that there will be an attempt on the life of Samrat, after all a leader cut off, the whole army gets ballistic. His famous spies capture the assassin.
Other side Ashok brings up the moral of the people, and urges the common men to share the burden of peaceful existence.
Bindusara comes and breaks the moment by telling Ashok that he is to attend the Rajkiya Vidyalaya. Ashok is shocked and happy.
Precap - Apparently Chanakya has sent goons after Dharma to pressurized Ashok to lift weapons. Ashok fights the goons.
