Alright today's episode was a riot.
Bindusara and his love story! I find it rather hopelessly cheesy. His wife died(as per he believes) by the hands of his father-in-law, and man is unaware of everything.
Ashok is seriously a masterpiece. He so cheerfully weaves tales to get himself out of trouble somehow basing it onto a moral is something quite admirable.
Sharp of mind and quick of feet, he even indirectly tested the Samrat and delivered justice on the guilty that too without even lifting his own hands, he defeated Sushim.
Helena! Believes herself to be master manipulator and yet made a fool by a boy less than half her age. At least she had deduced Chanakya's intentions, cuz others are too busy fighting each other (Charumitra-Sushim & Noor-Siyamak) to notice the real opponent(Chanakya-Dharma-Ashok).
Bal Govind has finally found his backbone today. Beast/Sushim became black and blue. And all this started because the Beast kidnapped the Lion instead of the beauty.
Precap - Poor Ashok. Somebody needs to feed hot poker to this brat of a prince.
@bold: 😆 Why, doesn't Ashok fit to be a beauty? 😆 Lol, but seriously, that was his one mistake - her underestimated Ashok. Never underestimate your enemy, no matter who he/she is.
Bindusara- he's hopelessly in love, huh. Though, to be honest, I can't see the credibility behind this love story - how long have they known each other before being parted, anyway? How much time did they spend together? It looked like after Bindusara woke up, he saw her, he fell in love, proposed, they married and next day, Khorasan was there to end their love-story. Hm.
I enjoyed the part where they punished Suhsim 😉 Sure, the method might be questionable but honestly, Ashok is right: They can't have Sushim punished by law since he's the prince and has destroyed the one proof against him. But Ashok knows he's the culprit - what difference does it make whether Samrat Bindusara punished the culprit or our lovely Samrat Vanraj? 😉
And Helena is a smart lady - even if she's easily played by Ashok. Who isn't? 😆 But at least, she noticed what Chanakya is after, everyone else is too blind with their own rivalries to see the real threat. But then again, why would they think that Chanakya was trying to make a Samrat out of Ashok, a no-one in their eyes? Let's see what Helena is going to do with this new knowledge.
Lovely review 😊
