Welcome, and yes I will be late to those who read my posts! i thank you all for reading!

title: Chanakya rolls the dice and wins!

I will do anything to save my mom - Chanakya is a bhakt of his motherland, having been on his own since a very young age, the one thing constant in his life was his motherland, the land he had to leave because of a corrupt ruler, but its the same land he returned to, to liberate it, he sacrificed so much to bring justice for his land, and bring prosperity to the people of magadh! we all will do anything for our children because we are their parents but what about our motherland? is she not worthy of the same concern that we give to our kids? do we just walk on her, use her resources, let corrupt rulers ruin her?

For their to be peace, there must be cleansing of bad - and that cleansing can be peaceful but more times its violent, and sometimes that is the right way to go, when society is so corrupt and unwilling to do the right thing, cleansing is needed, even the Mahabharat yudh brought peace to Hastinapur but it was at the cost of millions of lives!

the master planner does it again - we all thought dharma would be unveiled but Chanakya made sure Ashok was protected, hiding his and his mother's id will protect them, but only till a time, because the truth can not be hidden for long!

recreating the scene- in this day and age we can recreate the scene with computer and props and Chanakya did so with props, he was out to make Ashok samrat, the first step is to clear his name, and if it meant laying there to take an arrow, he would do it! i think anyone that determined would do that!

Training a Samrat - the kid clearly needs training, he has good thoughts, the righ tthoughts about a kingdom and governance, but not the right touch! And making him serve magadh/the king, it will mould him, he will learn how to deal with people, the world is a tough place for a kid who has not proper family and this life training will make him stronger than anyone at out there!
of course this stuff is fiction, i really hope the history roles in soon!

Chanakya got what he wanted today, the baaji was in his enemies hand today uptill the woman was unveiled, but after that the ball was in his court and he played the game like a pro! The whole recreating the scene of the crime and everything showed the genius of Chanakya, i just hope they stop showing fiction!

Brilliant analysis...I love how the are showing the shaping of Ashoka's character & strength to be the future Emperor of Emperors which is central to the story.

Not a history buff, so I am ok with the fiction bit which lends the entertainment factor to a varied audience watching.

With such an expensive project the channel & PH need to make sure the coffers are filled too, or else they would not be able to continue with the extravaganza that a show of this scale demands. So fiction being weaved in amidst the factual part is understandable to me...

Yesterday i love the episode...i read very little abt Chanakya becoz i m not history student but i really want to know this man!
I wish the CVs show some original facts rather fiction...
Now its time to see how Chanakya handle Ashoka & how he improves himself...

Hello Rati!
I am a regular reader of ur analysis in the MP forum. Glad u decided to watch this show and do the same here.
Episode was quite interesting, what with Chanakya turning the whole game in seconds. No wonder all the conspirators are wary of the man in white.
Though the end part of episode was really awesome. First interaction between father and son, after Ashok is declared innocent. Apparently Bindusara is highly amused and entertained by him.
So that means as Ashok is going to Pataliputra, Bindu will show him some preference and the vultures will jump on him to either kill him or frame him somehow.
Poor Vanraj!!

Thank u Rati for the awesome analytical posts!🤗 am completely dependent on them as always😳
I couldnt catch the whole epi yesterday - but managed to watch last half 15-20 mins...and I loved it - it was powerpacked and haha an ancient semi courtroom drama- if I may say so - is always interesting😛😛

Yes - they showed the genius of chanakya very well - the part where he saves ashoka's neck 👏👏 I missed the whole taam jhaam around the IDs of ashoka and dharma almost being revealed and all - so a bit lost there...

loved the bindusara-ashoka interaction - nicely done..- though I feel that sameer is underplaying his role and sidharth is overdoing it a bit ATM...but it was a lot of fun to watch nonetheless

poor dharma is restricted to giving those scared expressions🤔❓

cant wait for chanakya to begin ashoka's training - good going

history - whats that - If I may say so😆 but atleast on drama front - its interesting and entertaining sofar - will stop watching the minute it becomes a torture and starts hurting my sentiments, just on a safer side, m not as emotionally attached to this show as I was with one of their earlier one😳😭...

I just feel they are majorly into ashoka whitewashing and are rekindling chandragupta maurya-chanakya story with ashoka-chanakya - which is a bit 🤔 Id like to see some obvious differences in ashoka and CGM's personality - along with the similarities - sofar CVs have focussed only on similarities

and cut that slow mo camera scenes uff...m not fond of the gymnastics now...coz they are overdoing it 🥱

looking forward to upcoming epis

You're welcome Hiral!! 🤗 im glad im part of your routine! 😆😃
the drama was good, i just hope they revert to history soon!

yes the ashok as a king to his people was a good ruler, like his laws were unprecedented and set a good example for all rulers but he was always surrounded by enemies and he dealt with them harshly as needed but the carnage that he caused in different kingdoms was uncalled for!

right now its only the drama aspect that is good other than that there is no real history here, why do they even keep researchers if they are going to do manmaani!
