Hi, Im Rati, I have written another analysis, i hope you all enjoy it! I hope i makes sense lol!
Title: Dharm is protected by the Lion
Dharma, rightfully and correctly named is teaching what is scarce in this world and that world that was -Nonviolence is the path of generousity, of forgiveness, mercy! Violence is easy when your authority is challenged, she is right about that, but what we have to understand is that commiting an act of violence is not easy, its a moment where our character is challenged and one who can remain calm is the victorious! there different reasons for violence, violence out of hate, out of duty like in war or lets say Mahabharat war, that was a dharm yudh, one that was done to protect and cleanse society of bad! But normally her statement would be right, like if someone challenges us we get angry and we may lash out at them in words and if they really piss us off, we may even strike them- that moment in which we decide what we should do is our test!
contrast- paradise and magadh- Dharma represents the good in this world and everything beyond that waterfall is not paradise, there is greed there, the one person who fell down the waterfall saw that truth! falling can only lead to your rise, bindusar understood that!
I swear Dharma is the first person that is indirectly preaching about buddhism! but no worries, she is the good and pure person there! She is untainted by all that is material, all that we would call an illusion or maya! She lives with God as nature is a pure form of god!
Bindusar praising or should i say flirting with Dharma was funnny to me because this man just falls for every pretty thing out there! but she is a keeper!
And Shubhadrangi gets a new name, Dharma by our king who feels he is reborn with her help and her teachings! He proposed to her! its a beautiful moment and lovely music and scenery so let me burst the bubble!
ok ladies and gents, who here would accept a propasoal from a man who you just met and whose name you dont know? well I guess it was ok in that time, cuz our teacher lady just accepted the king's or should i say strange stranger's proposal!
There is a wedding and the all essential wedding night! ok was i the only one who wanted the lights to flicker and everything go blurr! hahah! well it happened!
ok so trouble in paradise has arrived in the form of Khurasan! The king will never trust anyone so easily as he was attacked but both men have a reason to trust because Khurasan lost his son and his daughter's life depends on this man being alive!
Well our majnu king doesnt want to marry Noor anymore and here Dharma hears that her husband is the king well that is something you ask before marriage but koi nai!
before the king can reveal Dharma's relation to him she stops him, I guess today she saved three lives and the life of an Akhand Bharat! Dharma is the guide, she tells him to follow his dharm and fulfill his promises!
why is this looking more like the Shakuntala story with the ring and al, i just hope the king doesnt get amnesia! otherwise im going to have a fit! haha!
Justin is about to be crowned, so from what I read from more knowledgable forum waasis is that justin and helena were good and not evil as they are being portrayed!
And in classic filmy style at the penultimate moment Khurasan presents the King!
our genius Chanakya comes and brings in the only attacker who was alive, and conveniently he dies before revealing all he knew!
Spinning a web to catch the Spider - spider in this case is Chanakya, he is being accused of murdering Bindusar's mother, the story is that Chanakya would feed Chandragupte some poison so he would grow tolerant to it and no enemy would ever be able to poison him, but one day the queen ate the same poison and died but she was pregnant with bindusar and so Chanakya decided to take out the child!
Chanakya who is completely caught in the web of conspiracy says that if the king thinks that his loyalty to his people and the land and the king are doubted or in doubt by the king then i will take any punishment even death!
Chanakya leaves but not without saying that if Magadh ever needs him he will return! And not before everyone in the court bowing to him, its like he rules the kingdom in real sense! After all the strategists, and spymasters are the ones that have real power, the ones that are ruling!
Pratiksha- Dharma is waiting and waiting, poor girl is pregnant and doesnt know when the man she fell in love with will return!
So noor has her first night but its nothing like a wife would want it to be, our devdas king tells her he cant love like he did to that one person that saved him! Dharma's life is in danger!
Khurasan lies to Dharma that he was sent to kill her, but Dharma is able to save herself and is locked in the hut and its set a blaze!
Fire purifies!- surely its horrifying to see fire all around you but fire purifies gold, dharma is gold in the form of a human, she is pure and for gold to be the purest it needs to go thru trials and tribulations in the form of fire!
Lion the king of the jungle protects its own- The lion is there again when Dharma is giving birth, he is there as the protector as he walks around her and makes sure no fire touches her! Dharma lives in nature or what many would call paradise, that paradise was tainted by an outsider! but the lion came as the protector of all that is his, all that is nature and all that is pure! the lion is the king of the jungle or the jungle that I call magadh, jungle has chaos like magadh, but when the king has no real power, the real king of the jungle, the lion comes to protect!
Jo shok mukt kare woh Ashoka! - its ironic thta during Ashoka's life he spilled so much blood, he caused so much shok/grief! but of course when a baby is born you dont know what he or she will do, so sometimes i really feel that you should name a kid later in life hahah! just kidding!
today was good but Chanakya leaving like that and being caught in the web of lies was unreal to me, he was sharper than all of those people there! he didnt topple dhananad's rule in magadh without a sharp mind! so the scene was unreal to me! but the birth of ashok was beautiful! I loved the scene!
