since this is CCKP's first newsletter... we wud like to put forward the concept, and a small introduction to the characters here...



Concept

'Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyaar' is the love story of Ginny and Dhruv which unfolds on a Chhajja. A romantic story that captures the human drama that unfolds in every north Indian household, where the epicenter of all comedy and tragedy is a terrace or 'Chhajja'. This story follows the love story of our adorable couple- Dhruv and Ginni... their path from friendship to love.. and from love to sacrifice



Cast

Ginny

Student TYBcom A strong headed girl who does not ever fail in calling a spade a spade. She is a colorful character who lights up the atmosphere. The house that seems lifeless when she is not around turns into a tornado affected land after her arrival. The only people who understand and support her is her father Avtaar and her sister Dimpy. Her father's support is something she is extremely grateful for and she completely trusts, respects and obeys her father's orders, no matter what.

Dhruv

Student Dhruv is a good hearted carefree person. He doesn't take his life seriously or plan for the future. He just lives in the moment and enjoys each moment of life. Dhruv also is in search of true love in his life, which often leads him to newer women and invariably, a lot of trouble - both inside and outside the house. But Dhruv is a very clean hearted person who will go to any extent to help someone in need.

Dimpy

Works in a Multinational company/bank A flawlessly perfect marriage material, Dimpy is the apple of her mother's eyes. A soft spoken intelligent girl who understands relations and human behavior like no one else. She is best friends with her sister Ginni and they understand each other like no one else.

Daksh

Hes the person who actually makes up the serial. a money minded person, he can leave even his sisters engagement for his work. he marries his boss lipika when she lures him partnership in her business, but doesnt think of his family and his fiance dimpy before marrying lipika. he creates a rift between relations, but still expects forgiveness from his parents.

Lipika

ewife A chatter box, gossip monger, gets easily influenced by outward beauty, insecure
shes the "villain" of the story. a businesswoman by profession, she falls in love with his emplyee, daksh, and lures him to get marry her, and in return offers him share in her business. after being successful in this, she tries to drift his husband from his family. she neither has a heart nor feelings.. something she has is crueelty and money.

Avtar

A man who firmly believes in "Simple living high thinking". He thinks about tomorrow and plans for it. Avtaar is a god fearing, good natured, emotional, understanding human who is empathetic and an extremely attached soul. His life revolves around his wife, daughters and his good friend and tenant Amarnath and his family.

Dinanath

Works in the same office as Avtaar' special designation in the guest relation segment. Self obsessed, pompous, lazy, procrastinating king, full of pride for his sons, lives for the day, hates to plan for future (why should he? After all he has sons who will take care of him later) Due to all the above points, Amarnath is the not the most sought after employee in his firm. His boss wants to chuck him out of the job, but his friend Avtaar keeps supporting him.

Time Blooper

Wen dhruv was continuously calling ginni on de phone...it was supposed to be 4 'o' clock but de time on de phone was 11.😕.lolz.😆...

Lets have a look at some special moments of this week

The week started awesomely and ended up on a sad note. Every scene was special potraying love, sacrifice, crying, and a bit of humor, but the scene which stood out of all and made a mark for the week is...

The character that stood out from the rest..: This character stood out for his innocence and selfless behavior. He was supposed to be cloud 9 after his achieving, but he never expected much and wanted all to treat him as usual. He was a responsible son and a reasonable lover. He is none other than our Dhruv Tripati👏👏👏

The Actor/Actress that outshine all for his/her acting skills.. : She has showed her childish and fun self with Dhruv, but this week she got chance to show herself as a sacrificing sister. She was awesome with her confusion, decision making, and confrontation with Dhruv. Yeah...Friends...congratulate Ginny aka Shambhavi Sharma.

(Best dressed character.. ): Its a tough task to decide this on CCKP as most of them are in their casual dresses...which is the best thing I feel😊. Lipika always manages to do great wit her sarees and backless blouses, but in Jagratha dress, all were well dressed. Ok ok me not declaring all as Kings and Queen😛😛😛. Its our Dhrunni who was looking awesome. Dhruv was in olive green and Ginny in purple and Green combo. 😃😃😃

(Best jodi for their chemistry.. ): Dhruv and Ginny. Ok. now I know u r gonna complain I am biased, but they had proved it again and again, that they are the best.😊😊😊

The two families bonding. The sweet sunday gupshup. They realised that one person's bad deeds cant effect their love so this weeks Rishta of the week goes to the friendship between the two families, be always together and understanding...

This is getting very hard for me to write all this as I am quite shy.😉...Their chemistries is always main blowing and if it is cherried with a kiss, yep...though it was a mishit😆

Dinu and Dhruv always shared a typical relation where Dinu thoughts Dhruv as useless and Dhruv thought Dinu as impossible, but on Jagratha. Dinu and Dhruv sat and had a sweet Dad son conversation, it was so wonderful to watch them together like that

Ginny is all confused and decides to reveal truth to the family, but changes mind to let Dhruv go marry Dimpy. Come on girl. y u acting like a 1960s heroine. The worst thing is Dimpy is hardly interested in Dhruv. These people are acting as if dunya mein ache ladkon ka akaal pada hai. 😳😳😳😳. Ginny crying tearing pics of Dhruv n Dimpy from other pics n joining them was the silliest thing I can expect.😲😲😲

Funniest moment of the week.. : Ginny waking up sleep Dhruv who is dreaming about declaring his love to the family and Ginny getting angry over him sweetly. Loved Dhruv's expressions😆😆😆

I am so confused, going bonkers. You know what sometimes its hard to understand which channel I am watching. Nope, I am perfectly fine, but Rohit's mom aka Megha's sasuma is playing a similar role (would be sasuma of lead's sister) in some other show on the same time slot. oops...

CCKP is very sweet and wonderful show and the only thing which can concern its viewers is Lipika and when she is shown to return back in the lives of Sehgals and Tripati's that gets the what the hell moment of the week😡😡😡
