Anyone else think that Viren being taken to boarding school because he was a 'Nalayak' a little strange?
We found out that Viren was a quiet child from VD....if he was a quiet child then how come he was taken to boarding school because he was 'bad' child...a nalayak?
Him getting into fights...bad grades....being demanding...
I know he was misuderstood...but...
I'm confused....
I was expecting him to be taken to boarding school because he was quiet and misunderstood...and DS wanted to bring out his personality...but now...looks like Viren went quiet after going to boading school...

actually, many things are not summing up well lately. This means the concept is changed now.
Yesterday, probably noone noticed, during that "panja" competition in the school, Sid was intentionally losing to Viren. When friends caught Sid of intentionally losing, he defeated Viren. It shows his feelings as an elder brother.

But Bani this very thing that Sid was intentionally losing become problem of Viren because he felt humilated and his problem is not sorted out properly at home. Everyone saw he pushed a boy but no one saw why he did. In my opinion it was not DS fault because the position he was at that time he could just see he pushed but if Chanchal as a mother had asked him with compasion why he did then everything wouldn't have went that wrong and that could be cured or rectified at that age only. Chanchal loves Viren very much no doubt but she couldn't help him out or understand him at that age. The way she understood today Viren is upto something if she had tried to find reason at that age why he pushed that boy and tried to manipulate YD the way she instigate her for wrong means she could have done for her child too. Bani in real world you can see so many kids become criminal due to that reasons only. For me Chanchal hold's the max. responsibility for making Viren what he is today.

@ Bani I agree. Lots of things are not counting up...and I dont like it. How can they do such drastic change? Do they think we are that dumb? And I havent even been watching much and I feel robbed 👎🏼 maybe I should go back to my joking around with Indian dramas and not taking it seriously.

But yeah I noticed that scene but young Viren was too gone to notice the brotherly love there and took it the wrong way.

@Cutie-nivren Bani was just trying to highlight that the brotherly love is there. But young Sid didn't notice that it was causing Viren heartbreak. But I agree DS is not totally at fault...he judged with what he saw. Sometimes parents especially fathers / male do that and its up to the other parent to find out whats wrong and comfort but what was CC + JW doing? Where were their parenting?

DS was going his job as a elder but where was the parent love?

There as been bad parenting..if he was being rebellious why didn't anyone want to find out why? And why on earth did no one go see him in boarding school?

Confusion ....

i agree with ur whole post except the bolded part.. i feel that everyone is equally to blame because in a joint family, everyone has a role in ur life. even tho chanchal would've found reason at that age...he still would've wanted revenge from sid and dadaji. i;m from a joint family but we live alone now cuz my dad got a job in the us.. when my grandfather comes and accidently says something that hurts my feelings it doesnt hurt as bad.. but when he says it to my cousin who lives with him.. she is affected pretty badly... i've had to explain it to both of them a couple of times.. tho he was quiet, he was shown as irresponsible and abusive (leaving sid and nivi for a kite... hitting someone for a fruit... ) and so was sent.. and now i guess he's not contributing in the family business so he's nalayak.. but i don;t care, sid has a big role in that.. cuz he doesn't want viren to work!
