I would like to add my two cents here:😃
I have been brought up with my elder brother from my birth, till I moved out to USA. I think I am normal😆, but I still I do not recall each and every incident from my childhood.
here when Viren left home, they were all kids. Viren was out of sight, which leads to out of mind, especially for children of that age group. Sid is already doubtful that Viren is living with some misunderstanding, as there must be a reason, as to why he is doing. Because, from the time, he returned home, nothing happened which can infuriate Viren. So, the cause must be lying somewhere in the past, when Viren was with him.

Even i dont clearly remember my childhood moments.........its just into bits n pieces that i remember some of the incidents of my childhood.
I think for something to make a place in ur mind has to make an impact in ur life first..........only then the memory of that incident will stay with u forever.
And its the same with Viren.........whatever conspired in his childhood......had made an impact in his life......that he cudnt forget that moment for a minute........its kinda like a nightmare for him.......since it brings out his bad side with its memory.

I really feel they've done injustice to Divya's character just to push the story forward in such pathetic way.

Then its a possibility....that this new girl (like Bani said in the above post).......might bring a new change in Divya...............maybe by flirting with Sid......or by making Divya know her stand in his life.
Somewhat in the lines of the other show sasural genda phool.....where to realize suhana her feelings.....family brings new girl in ishaan's life................................anyways sorry for giving an example of another show......but i thought maybe this cud be one of the way to make Divya realize Sid's worth.

Need of the new girl:
its not a question of Divya being dumb! Divya's character does not match up with Sid's composure in any way. Dumbness is ok, but she just does not have those feelings, even before. Now she is shown jealous , that can be rectified. But those feelings to keep others happy, to feel for others, to maintain a composed state was never in Divya's character. Divya';s basic character is very shallow and basic character of a human being can never change. And the speciality of Sid's character is his composure and feelings for others.
I am also sure that just to pay respect to the actor Rishma, RS will not introduce a new girl. Its sad, at least to a viewer like me!
But anyways, it seems like Sid has to bear this "cross" called Divya throughout his life, like DS bore YD.

a person's "basic nature", whether good or bad, never changes, just like our looks with which we are born. We can put makeup, do surgeries, but those are all temporary.
Suhana has a heart of gold. Divya's character is no way is comparable to Suhana. If you see Suhana's character, she tries to learn by watching. I just acnt exaplain, but you need to look at both Divya and Suhana with full concentration to make out the difference in them. Divya has been brought up from childhood in the vicinity of her dadi, a sis like Nivedita, a bade papa like Keshav, but still she is without feelings to feel for others.
I can guarantee a character like Viren can change, as he is just masked by a misunderstanding. With the same guarantee, I can assure, Divya's character change will be temporary and it will rebound in no time. Divya is not bad, but she is shallow, and a complete mis-match for Sid's composure.
One more thing, "flirting" and "Sid" do not go together. Sid's wife needs to be insightful, thats the only criterion needed. Integrity and insightful...😊

@ everyone,
chill guys! I was just too frustrated at the way everyone is tearyign Sid, thats why made the comment. I think Sid should name all the property in Viren's name, solve this problem of Nivedita so that she can have a blissful married life, and get Divya married to a "hottie" like Viren, as Divya in her heart of hearts need a hisband like our romantic (exclusind fake) for herself,.
Sid should just move away from the family! that wont happen I know, as Rajan Shahi will do justice to Rishma, the actor.

But Bani....Divya wasnt shallow earlier..............remember when DS and Keshav were admitted in the hospital......regardless of what her parents think.....Divya was very concerned about Keshav's health.
Thats the thing Sonal! She has the sense, yet does not have it.
She had the sense that Keshav-Nivi-dadi needs their help, what did she persuade that, when she came to know that her future relations might be hampered, if she treis to go and help them. Thats what I meant by saying that "dumbness is not bad", but a woman needs to be insightful and with integrity.
or, she even wanted to call Nivi-Yash-dadai for the engagement, but as soon as her mom said that "her sasuralwale" might not like it, she immediately turned her back.
Many people can say many bigwords, but when time comes, whether they can follow those, is what determined a character.

Yeah i know what u r saying.........to Divya things can affect temporarily but then like u said the basic nature of oneself will remain with u forever........no matter how much u pretend to change......u remain the same.

My cousins wife was somewht similar..........but she was some unique thing...........if she watches a movie....in which the heroine is very sanskaari......does all the work n respects others......then my cousins wife used to behave the same way.
Its like putting on a mask........................but once its removed......its still same u.........................sorry got distracted from the topic.
