Zarmeeno, loved what you said and I agree with you totally !!! Sinchan, you look a little confused to me, so will try and make you understand through good examples and scene references ! Zarmeeno have already said most of what I wanted to say, so will add few more of my points !!!
I have never questioned NivArth's love, it was very real and true, because character's like Nivi fall in love, it is very much real. My question was are they meant to be together ? My answer is, no they are not, because both CT's & God have proved time and time again, that they are not destined to be together !! Had they meant to be together and made for each other, God and CT's both would have let them secretly get married !!! They didn't !! They were alone that night, with no one to stop them, so God intervened and didn't allow them to marry secretly, so they almost got married, emphasis on almost, they didn't get married, if they had, then it would have been morally wrong !!
Now a lot of you are saying that NivArth's love was very young and premature and had they gotten time together, they would have been able to face it together. I don't believe that, because true love doesn't need time to strength and mature, because foundation of true love is always trust, understanding and most of all faith. Like Vandana and Naintara have both said, one doesn't need to see or ask about the truth to know it, because when you have faith, then you don't need to know the truth !! We all have seen the very famous movie, 'Main Ne Pyar Kiya'. Right now the NivArth's track is walking along the same lines as Prem & Suman. They too were friends, who fell in love and then their love was tested !! Prem too like Sid, was sent away, and in his absence Suman and her dad was insulted and thrown out of the house !! But when Prem got back, and heard what happened, he had faith in his love and in Suman and her dad, so he went against his family and left the house !! So if the CT's wanted NivArth together, they would have shown Sid to be like his dad and Prem, and would have shown him fight against his family and standing up for Nivi and Keshav. Sadly he didn't !! Even Prem and Suman's love was very young and premature, but it didn't need time or proof to believe in what is right !! It is not as if Sid doesn't know Keshav, he has known him since childhood, so how could he believe and let his family treat Keshav and Nivi this way without any proofs ?? Fine he was in shock, but what about later ? Why didn't he understand why his Dada Sahib or his mom are so unhappy with these accusations ! Why didn't he question himself as to why after knowing the truth all these years, his Dada Sahib and mom chose to come back to Shimla and to shower so much love and care on Sharma's ? Why did it take his mom to convince him that what you always see is the truth and what your heart says is never wrong ? And even after Vandana saying such a huge thing, and to find out that Keshav is innocent about what happened in the factory, why did Sid need to go to Nivi and ask for the truth ? Wasn't his mom's conviction in Keshav's innocence enough for him ? Confronting Nivi tonight is going to be another strike against him, whereas Nivi is concerned !! That is why I feel that even though the treatment of their story earlier was like Main Ne Pyar Kiya, their story doesn't have the soul of Prem and Suman's love unfortunately !
Had Sid stood up for Keshav and Nivi that day, Putal would have never died and Nivedita would never have born !! But she did, and Sid can never relate to Nivedita !! Because he fell in love with the very shy and timid girl, who was always very soft spoken !! This Nivedita, he doesnt not understand, that is why a simple question to Dada Sahib, looked to him as if she misbehaved with his Dada Sahib !! Putal would never return, and this Nivedita is here to stay !! This Nivedita will become the pillar of her family and all the problems and hardships she will face, will make her a women of substance !! Nivi will ultimately forgive Sid, because she is not the sort to hold a grudge against anyone, especially against the guy she loves and is her best friend, but she will never be able to forget it either, because like I have said their earlier, trust is like a mirror, once it breaks, it can be fixed, but the cracks would always remain !! It would be impossible for Nivi to get back together with Sid now because she will be never able to trust him again. Even if he repents, apologizes, search for the truth, and even restore her family's honor, she would forgive him, she would also appreciate it, but if I have understood her character sketch right, she will never be able to marry him, because she will never be able to trust him again and also Because among all this drama, everyone may over look Divya and the fact that he is now engaged to her, but Nivi won't !! If she was ready to sacrifice her love for Divya before when none of this happened, do you really think, she will agree to marry him knowing, that he would be breaking of his engagement to Divya in order to marry her ??
Millions of girls face these kind of problems and situations, but only a true women makes the right decision, which is right not only for her, but for all the others involved too, and come out as a winner !! If she accepts Sid now, then there is no difference between her and Divya, who would put her her happiness before her family's for the guy she loves. I'm not saying she is wrong, but that makes her a very typical girl of today, whereas they have to show Nivi as a woman of substance !! And you don't become a woman of substance, without making any sacrifices and standing up for what is right !!
