I also liked this challenge, qk wo quick decisions len and all. Masttt. Also agree with archana's choice of utensil.

He should win, considering he had no twist. But something tells me it’ll be Rajiv or Teja.

I think Archana was very smart in choosing her utensil. Faisu had elements with long cooking times, he should’ve chosen a pressure cooker.

Nikki and Teja are always together. Such blatant favours Nikki gets through her contact at Endemol. And man, she’s beyond evil. She claims she’s never washed dishes. Really? Wasn’t she on Big Boss? Also, she was a struggler in Bombay, did she have an entourage doing her chores? What about during lockdown? She’s super fake!

The judges and Teja calling paella, paya was annoying me so much. I literally live in the birthplace of Paella, and I was grinding my teeth each time they said paya. And then these same people make fun of Archana’s pronunciation.

Faisu had an amazing advantage. Last week with the seeti, the advantage people were getting was to disadvantage someone else. Faisus advantage was a true advantage.

Tai is such a crybaby. I get it you don’t understand Gaurav’s dish, he had vegetables and dough. She could’ve literally made some roti, Sabji (like she usually does) and saved herself. Why cry? This woman only finds excuses.

I kind of felt bad for Rajiv and Gaurav. Rajiv literally only got boiled potatoes and steamed pumpkin, and dough that hadn’t risen. Even then boiled potato and steamed pumpkin are versatile and he could’ve managed something decent. Gaurav literally got Dal and dough. And not too many ingredients either. He wanted to make cheese filled dumplings, but his dish sounds very weak. Clearly, he’ll stay in the black apron.

I liked this challenge. Forces people to think out of the box and use other equipment like ovens and air fryers. Also, make quick decisions and be able to work on something you didn’t plan.

But from the promo it seems like most don’t have a good dish. Let’s wait and watch.

The contestants behave like they are in Bigg Boss and not Masterchef. Nikki's overacting was too much, I don't wash utensils, and I have just done a manicure and whatnot... so much nautanki. She made Tejaswi wash her frying pan😏

Usha Tai is making dal dhokli 😵 and she was saying "inka naya naatak" and all when she herself does so much naatak 😃 she has zero patience.

Why I feel that nikki is trying to copy Suvarna ji from season 7? she makes thecha all the time, the same thing happened with her in the swap challenge.

he got to swap her counter with Vineet, Vineet was making bhapadoi Sondesh and Suvarna ji did not taste her dish because the dish was in the mould.

shape kharaab ho jati varna.

Chef Garima got so angry, she did not shout but did everything with her facial expressions.

This time also Nikki made the same mistake, did not add sault because according to her the dish was in the mold.

but at least Suvarna ji was talented unlike Nikki.

vo bhi thecha banati thien, but her dishes were innovative, also we all collectively disliked her behaviour but last mei her hardwork and dedication was evident, usme she never compromized, and uske karan bohot log unko pasand karte the.

+she was rude, but not toxic like Nikki.

Faisu is saved in this challenge. The new promo is out and Faisu can be seen in the balcony.

The moment I hear Holi special I knew it was going to be all about gujiya and thandai. I’m sure other communities celebrate holid differently. For example in my community we literally never have gujiya (haven’t ever tried it) or even thandai. We have a sweet called Gheeyar (like a big, thinner jalebi), and on holika dahan we make a sweet bread. I’m sure other communities also have a lot of unique things.

Talking about actual dishes - Teja made a thandai kulfi, which we’ve seen several times on masterchef.

Nikki made a deconstructed wada pav - looked pretty unappetizing to me. What’s wada pav got to do with Holi? I know it’s her ghar Ki yaad, but still.

Tai made puranpoli tart - I actually remember Suvarna doing the same thing and calling it Puranpoli pie.

Archana made Dahi wada- I know it’s a Holi dish, but 0 innovation.

Faisu made some mutton. It’s a dish eaten at most celebration, again no innovation.

Gaurav made thandai canoli and panjiri again. We’ve legit seen thandai canoli in the past. And what’s with him making Panjiri every time he makes a desert? Like Nikki is thecha queen, Gaurav should be rechristened Panjiri king.

Rajiv made a gujiya trifle. The only one that really showed some innovation. His ideas are amazing.

I didn’t think the episode was all that great. They were just giving out only good comments, since the families were around. I can’t comment on taste, but Tais tart had a whole! Nikki’s presentation looked horrible.

Finally someone pointed Gaurav’s panjiri obsession Thecha queen and Panjiri king But I like Gaurav’s plating, I think his plating is really good mostly.

Faisu winning Holi episode shows secularism

I like Rajiv’s idea too, I think his plating for the glass was okay considering the holi concept, like finally a really colorful dish! But the design on the plate with the petals arranged made it seem he was trying to do too much like Zorawar said.

In the holi episode, I actually liked Chef Zorawar as a judge. Among all the guest chefs that came , I thought Zorawar was the most technical one. I liked him more than Chef Ranveer in this episode Chef Ranveer ne ek movie mai acting kya kar li, an voh bhi drama karna start kar diya

They could have made Chef Zorawar the temp judge for the days Chef Vikas was absent instead of calling different guest chefs every day.

I haven’t watch the utensil wala episode yet but the challenge looks really good. Finally a real challenge wala episode after 2 weeks of drama orientated episodes
