SRK to produce kids' film!

After Taare Zameen Par, actors and filmmakers are increasingly getting into the children's audience as a viable market.

Now Shah Rukh Khan is set to make a children's film, replete with state-of-the-art visual effects with a whopping budget of $25 million (approximately Rs 98 crore). The actor, who made a mention of his big-budget film in the passing at the 58th Berlin International Film Festival, is in the process of hiring noted Hollywood technicians for his ambitious film.

The plot essentially revolves around a bunch of kids who yearn for adventure and subsequently wish for evil things. The conflict arises when a string of evil incidents unfold in their lives. While Shah Rukh is supervising the entire production of the yet untitled film, Anubhav Sinha (his last film was the forgettable Cash ) will don the director's hat.

In the circles that really matter, the buzz is that Shah Rukh will feature in the film as well. However, he is yet to determine his role. Presently, the actor is in advanced talks with classical painter and visual-effects artist Charles Darby who is the mastermind behind The Matrix and the recent Harry Potter films.

Anubhav Sinha, when contacted, refused to divulge any details. He didn't deny his film, which is shrouded in secrecy and just had this to say, "How did you get to know?"
