Instead we are insinuating Akshay Kumar's sense of dressing these days.

In the metrosexual day and age, it's not unusual to see a man wearing pastel shades. And while most can barely carry them off, Akshay tends to do so with much ease.

Only recently when we met the man on the sets of Singh Is Kinng in Chandigarh where he was dressed in a light pink kurta and looked dashing as always.

"I don't think too much about what I should wear. But I like to be comfortable," he tells us. As long as everything 'suits' him fine, right?

BHOOL BHULAIYA ALL SET TO CROSS 100 DAYS

"Bhool Bhulaiyaa", which is one of the many Akshay Kumar successes in the months gone by, would be celebrating its 100th day at the box office this Sunday.
Entering its 15th week, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" has already achieved a super hit status for itself after earning close to 55 crores at the box office. Such favorable has been Akshay's run in the current season that his latest release "Welcome" crossed the 55 crores mark in two weeks flat.
Coming back to "Bhool Bhulaiyaa", its DVDs have been out on stands for more than a month and are already enjoying brisk sales. The film is also special for Vidya Balan since it marked a hat trick of box office successes for her in 2007 in the form of "Heyy Babyy", "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" and "Guru".

Kunal Kapoor did become an overnight sensation with the success of Rang De Basanti and the actor did feature in a couple of big banner films this year. Unfortunately, Kunal's run at the box office has been quite a misery.

First came Milan Luthria's Hat Trick –a film that had various stories revolving around the cricket world cup. Though the film carried all the buzz of cricket and an assemble star cast, it didn't do well at the box office.

Then came Kunal's films under the prestigious Yash Raj banner. Pradeep Sarkar's Laaga Chunnari Mein Daag had all the elements that called for a hit, be it the likes of Abhishek Bachchan , Rani Mukherjee , Jaya Bachchan , Konkona Sen ; music by Shantanu Moitra and you name it , they had it all. But the movie didn't fare too well at the box office.

Reports suggest that the clash with Priyadarshan' s Bhool Bhulaiya is what cost them.

Next in line was Aaja Nachle which was more of a Madhuri Dixit film with not much scope for Kunal or Konkona. The Madhuri comeback vehicle bombed at the box office and even the songs couldn't console collections.

Finally, Kunal has his eyes set on Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakth Ishq which is one of the most talked about films of 2008 for it also stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.

Let's hope that Kunal makes his presence in this love story and may he find success this year.

Sajid Khan has become the youngest debut director to deliver a blockbuster 'HEYY BABYY' which has gone down in the annals of Bollywood as one of the 10 grossing films.

Surely enough Sajid Khan has been inundated with offers to direct his second film, since he got the pulse of the audience right with his debut film. According to sources, he has been offered lucrative deals running into crores by the producers to encash on his super successful debut.

But Sajid Khan is not biting the bait. He has already committed his second film with Sajid Nadiadwala, whom he considers his closest buddy. In fact he considers Sajid Nadiadwala as a dream producer to work with. Their second film together with a dream star cast has already been touted as a sure fire blockbuster in the making in the trade circle.

No wonder that the industry which calls Sajid Nadiadwala as 'Mr. Blockbuster' for the highest percentage of hits delivered by his banner, now refer to Sajid Khan & Sajid Nadiadwala as 'Blockbuster Buddies' for the massive hit in 'HEYY BABYY' and the potential blockbuster in the making.

Says Sajid Khan, "It's a dream to work with a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala. He is the most generous producer around. He will always give you much more than what you would expect and that shows in the production value of the film."

He adds, "Besides he is my buddy and we share a great comfort level. I will strive to give a bigger hit with my second film with his banner NGE."

No wonder than they are increasing referred to as 'Blockbuster Buddies' in close circle too!!

Action man and thigh bai: Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna.

Apart from the presence of Shahid-Kareena- Saif at the Stardust awards gala on Saturday at the MMRDA grounds, what was also a talking point was Twinkle's dress for her evening out.

It is not often that we see Tina dressed like Kangana and Mallika.

But Akshay Kumar's biwi had a rising hemline and plunging neckline. Well, she certainly got noticed by all!

And her Best Actor award-winning hubby remembered to thank her profusely while receiving the award.

Chi Chi at it again

Though Govinda performed at the awards, he gave several anxious moments to the organisers of the event.

As during the Azaadi Express event last year, at the last minute Govinda refused to perform! He claimed he was too busy.

As a result one of the organisers had to plead, beg, cajole him to make it to the event as at the nth hour they could not find a replacement for his act.

Looks like Chi Chi has lost it and is back to his old ways. Ultimately he did turn up and got jiggy. So why the tamasha, Chi Chi?
