Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal abandon 'Hera Pheri 4'

Mumbai: Remember the classic trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in 'Hera Pheri'? The iconic threesome, who made the film an all time favourite with moviegoers, will not be seen in the third installment of the film that is called 'Hera Pheri 4'. Believe it or not but the lead crowd-pullers Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have been replaced by Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar.

A sure disappointment for the series fans but as sources state it was Akshay and Paresh who opted out of the flick. And though many believe that the move is triggered by the lackluster run of the second part at the Box Office, officially it is stated that the actors backed out, as they don't have dates.

Confirming the news a source said, "Both actors have lost interest in the project and have made it clear they have no interest in coming together for yet another 'Hera Pheri' film. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala delayed the film in the hope that he would be able to convince them to stay on, but now he has no choice but to go ahead with different actors."

"In all probability, you will see Dutt in Akshay's role and Nana in place of Paresh. Both actors have good comic timing," adds the source.

Well Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar sure have some big shoes to fill, here's hoping they do a good job at it.

Akshay Kumar Gives 'Thums Up' to Costly Commercial

Well somebody has to do the dirty work so why not get paid in the process? Actor, sportsman and stunt fanatic; Akshay Kumar can do it all and after starring in India's most costly movie, "Blue," the B-town big shot is reportedly off to Malaysia to shoot the costliest commercial an Indian actor has ever made!

And as if that wasn't enough, the sporty actor will keep up his mind-blowing stunts he performed in the action-packed "Blue" and undertake some amazing jumps in his new ad for "Thums Up," a soft drink he has endorsed for several years.

Akshay sure seems to like a good challenge! Last time we heard from him he wanted to learn gymnastics for upcoming on-screen fights.

"My favourite Olympian sportsperson is Ivan [Ivankov.] And as I watch his skills I want to now learn it so that I could apply it to my own dancing and fights on screen. I think gymnastics are the hardest and most dangerous sports in the world. He was unbelievably graceful. Ivan's agility and power is unbelievable. I want to try for it," Akshay said not too long ago.

Well let's hope that he has learned some new stunts to show off in his new and costly "Thums Up" commercial and that the money will be worth it!
