It's the time to Walt-z?

Walt Disney Pictures has approached Shah Rukh Khan with the idea of collaborating with his company, Red Chillies Entertainment. Reportedly they want to invest a whopping $30 million in the deal

We have news from reliable sources that Shah Rukh Khan has been approached by entertainment bigwig Walt Disney Pictures. The world famous company is keen to invest in SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment. Buzz is that they have offered to invest a whopping $30 million into the deal.

Representatives of Walt Disney Pictures flew down from Los Angles to London, where SRK was staying on his last trip to the UK. A source says, "Officials from Walt Disney Pictures flew down to meet Shah Rukh while he holidaying in London with his family. Walt Disney has plans of investing $30 million in the first phase of their partnership tenure. Given SRK's popularity abroad, other international companies like Sony Pictures and Rupert Murdoch's company had also shown interest in investing in Red Chillies Entertainment. Although SRK hasn't confirmed the deal yet, it might be interesting if he decides to do so."

When contacted Bobby Chawla, Shah Rukh's manager confirmed the news without divulging too many details. He said, "I don't want to comment on this subject. I only know that Walt Disney officials had met Shah Rukh, but I am not too sure what happened after that." Meanwhile Arjun Mitra, head of Red Chillies Studio, said, "All the information you're seeking is highly confidential and I can't talk about it."

However, our source reveals, "This is the second time that Walt Disney Pictures have tried to get in touch with SRK. The first time SRK couldn't meet them as he was too tied up with work. His manager, Bobby met the officials. But this time in London he was relatively free and did meet them finally."

Shah Rukh Khan's current home production Om Shanti Om directed by Farah Khan is almost complete and the star has given his nod for his next home production to be directed by Shirish Kunder. The film is said to be a sci-fi one projecting SRK as super hero with a difference, he also makes you laugh. The film has been aptly titled Joker and will be one of the costliest films ever made.

Sushmita Sen rubbishes rumours about her supposed war with SRK

No Bichoo Business Here: Sushmita Sen

Sushmita Sen is tickled pink by stories in a glossy that Shah Rukh Khan and she are at war.

"So that's what the tattlers have been talking about while I was out of the country? Shah Rukh and I at war? Interesting copy, but absolutely untrue.

I've never had a problem with Shah Rukh. We had great fun shooting Main Hoon Na with (director) Farah Khan."

If Sushmita had a kind of extended cameo in Main Hoon Naa, SRK has an extended guest appearance in Sen's new film, Dulha Mil Gaya.

"Shah Rukh doing Dulha Mil Gaya has nothing to do with me. He liked the role offered by producer Viveck Vaswani and director Mudassar Aziz.

When I signed Dulha Mil Gaya, I didn't even know Shah Rukh was part of it. Dulha Mil Gaya is not a heroine-centric film," she says.

She warms up to the SRK topic. "SRK and I are both Scorpios, but we don't sting each other. We take on the world instead."

Reverting to the kind of films she does, Sushmita says, "I don't do films just because they're women-centric. I like roles that are powerful.

I'm not very good at 'bachao' tactics. And yet, ironically, I was the object of adoration in Main Hoon Na. That role was all about the right presentation."

No regrets

Interestingly, Sushmita is a Monsoon Miss. "I love the feel of rain. I loved doing the Laga laga re song in Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya and getting wet for Main Hoon Na," says the former Miss Universe.

However, playing props who just dance in the rain is not her scene. "My fans feel let down when I've nothing to do in a film.

At the same time, I'm aware they didn't like me in Chingari but I don't regret anything in life.

Every role is about creating something you believe in. I'm working very hard in both Sholay and Dulha Mil Gaya, although Sholay isn't quite my film alone."
