Four Lions' much awaited show Humsafars on Sony TV is all set to hit the screens very soon. The show will be featuring a newbie Shivya Pathania as the protagonist who hails from Shimla and is very sweet and bubbly in real.

TellyBuzz spoke to Shivya to know more about her character in the show, her real life and much more.. We also came to know that Shivya can relate herself to her character very well and she has worked hard for her dream to become an actor.

Let's hear what Shivya says about her reel and real life.

Tell us something about yourself...

I belong to Shimla and have completed my engineering studies in Electronics and Communications. I believe in hard work and also believe that if you will work hard and desire for anything truly then you will definitely achieve that thing. I think that I have reached my destination which is Mumbai from Shimla and like me if all the girls who dream to get into the field of acting or any other field, if they will work hard, they will definitely achieve their goal. I feel that people should judge a person with their work and talent and not by their appearance.

How is your character in Humsafars?

I am playing Arzoo Nausheen Khan, who lives with her Ammi, two sisters and dadi along with a parrot Asharfi. Her Abbu has left her Ammi because she didn't give birth to a son. Arzoo is a girl, who doesn't show her emotion easily. She cries alone rather than crying in front of the family. Every girl will connect herself emotionally with this character. There are several things which I have got to learn from Shivya and that's why Arzoo is close to Shivya.

How did you prepare yourself for the character?

I am working upon my Urdu diction and please forgive me if I go wrong sometimes. I am working very hard and we want to be a part of your family. The show has been named as Humsafars because we want you all to become our Humsafars. Our guru Aashiq sir has taught us in the workshop and trained us for Urdu diction. Also to work upon our voice modulation. Since I am new to acting, so I attended a lot of workshop with him and I get to learn a lot from him. Being a senior actor to me, even Harshad attended the workshop and he has worked a lot upon his Urdu diction.

How is it working with Harshad?

He is a very nice person and a co-star to work with. It's a nice experience working with him. I respect him and his work a lot because I get to learn a lot from him. I am a new comer but he has never let me feel that I am a new comer. He is very supportive and a nice co-star and acting with him is always fun.

How are you finding your outfit?

I really like my outfits in the show. My Mom has a business of clothes in Shimla and she has already thought that everybody will now wear this kind of an outfit in Shimla. I think one should wear only what a person feels comfortable in so Arzoo feels comfortable in the outfit so she worn it in the show. Arzoo says that 'a person is judged by his thinking and not with what he wears and even I feel the same.'

How has been the response from the viewers as the promo is out?

The response has been good so far. I am doing a lot of hard work from my side. It's not necessary that everyone will like you but I have tried and reached here so I just wish that you all will support me because it was tough for me.

Message for the audience?

Shivya is a girl who has come here amongst you all. She used to dream like you all have worked hard for it. Your support is very much needed when I have reached till here. Just give a chance and give your feedback. If you won't like anything then please do tell us and we will work hard for it.
