As far as Dakshaini goes...the real one I don't know much about, but the DKDM one was like..I need u to come, you should come, you better come...all focused on her needs than the devotion that goes with invoking the Almighty. And her insecurity was very evident in her constant whining (DKDM Paro whines for her kids..that entirely different matter). Shiva usually came because he was constantly pestered..or that's my take on it. Only CVs know what was going on !!

Dakshayani did not go through tapasya like parvathy, she was incomplete in all respects. But definitely not the wining tantrum throwing greedy woman she was shown in DKDM

Jaya..have u seen Thiruvilayadal Dakshaini..Shiva interaction prior to her going to the yagna...so powerful. Dkdm spoilt her character and reduced it to standard love lorn girl.

What a power packed performance and the dialogs amazing and ofcourse Sati/Dakshayani shown in her true form not sum spoilt princess seeing through a pink glass of life
