Salman Khan is making it quite clear on whose side he is when it comes to the big boxoffice battle this Diwali, when Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar clashes with Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
That Shah Rukh and Salman don't exactly share cordial relations is well known.
On the other hand, Ajay as well as his Son Of Sardaar (SOS) co-star Sanjay Dutt are known to be close to Salman and the Dabangg superstar seems to be going all out to promote Ajay's film.

After agreeing to do the item number, 'Po po', in SOS on Ajay's request, and confirming he will launch the trailer of his upcoming biggie Dabangg2 with the film, Salman invited the star cast of SOS on the sets of the sixth season of his hugely popular reality show, Bigg Boss.
The episode, aired on Friday night, saw the film's hero and co-producer Ajay along with heroine Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay engaging in some random frolic at the sets of the show in Lonavala.
'Po po' was obviously the song of choice as the stars shook a leg, before Sonakshi zipped in on a bicycle to reprise her highlight motorbike stunt from SOS that has become quite popular in the trailers.
The SOS team's decision to promote their film on Bigg Boss is obvious considering SRK and his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star Katrina Kaif will soon be seen promoting their film on a rival TV show, Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati 6.
SRK and Kat will be seen teaching Big B the steps of the Korean rap hit, 'Gangnam style', on the popular quiz show. Earlier this week, Salman agreed to attach the theatrical trailer of Dabangg 2 with SOS.

The trailer of a Salman film attached to any new film can work wonders, as was evident in the case of Ishaqzaade earlier this year.
The first promo of the Salman-Katrina biggie Ek Tha Tiger was launched with Ishaqzaade, which starred newbies Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
The Ek Tha Tiger trailer generated a lot of excitement among fans, which in turn helped the Arjun-Parineeti film. Sources in the unit of SOS, however, underplay the Salman-SRK rift as the reason for the former's deciding to choose SOS to launch his Dabangg 2 trailer.
"SOS is a masala entertainer for the masses, and so is Dabangg2. The moods of both the films are similar. Jab Tak Hai Jaan, on the other hand, is a sophisticated love story," the source said.
Diwali this year falls on November 13, a Tuesday, and both Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar release on that date to cash in on the extended weekend.
Both films are expected to join Bollywood's Rs 100-crore club, though it remains to be seen which one is the bigger hit.
Vikas who? He was a popular actor on TV and has done a few films too. He is also a singer, most famously known for his song, Dhuan. Now, on Salman's recommendation, he was picked to sing the number Po po in Son Of Sardaar. Ask Vikas about this and he says, "The credit goes to Salman. I had gone to meet him with two songs that I had recorded, in the hope that he would take them for his next film. One of the songs was Ranjha ranjha."
He adds, "Salman heard this song twice. The next thing I know, he calls up composers Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid and tells them that I would be his voice."
About the song, Vikas says he had to practice for two days to get the pitch right. "Po po is a superb track and it had to be sung at a very high pitch. I was learning the tune with Himesh for two days and I dubbed the song for three hours. I had a great time singing it, as the tune and lyrics are very catchy."
Vikas has been out of the news lately, so was this song a new chapter in the industry for him? "There's a right time for everything. I'm happy that I've started my playback singing career as the voice of Salman Khan," he says.

Aamir Khan, who plays a policeman role in his new movie Talaash, denies he is seeking to outdo others who have portrayed cops in Bollywood, like Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. "I don't want to compete with anyone," he explained. "Ajay, Salman and Akshay have been cops earlier but this is very different. My character is struggling with his past." The suspense thriller, due for release on November 30, also stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. * IANS
Sinha: Bollywood can't do sci-fiPrithviraj aims for remake with Big B
The Malayalam actor Prithviraj is hoping to lure the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan for a starring role in a Hindi remake of his hit movie Ayalum Njanum Thammil. "This is a very special film for me because this story was thought of nine years ago. It's a film that I have travelled around with," said Prithviraj. "(Now) I would like to remake this film in Hindi with Mr Bachchan. Let's see how things fall in place," he said, although he admitted he had not approached the Big B as yet. * IANS
Anubhav Sinha believes that science-fiction movies remain unpopular in India because filmmakers lack the talent to produce them. During a panel discussion at this week's 14th Mumbai Film Festival, Sinha, who directed the 2011 sci-fi filmRa.One, contended this was the reason why so few movies of this genre are made in Bollywood. "The Mumbai film industry started with filmmakers who were not trained. Science fiction is not something that can be done by untrained filmmakers," he stated. * IANS
It's Mumbai over Cannes for Ahluwalia
Ashim Ahluwalia's Miss Lovely attracted huge crowds at the Mumbai Film Festival. The filmmaker said he was delighted by the response, claiming local approval is more important to him that international acclaim. Miss Lovely, which was also screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival, explores the world of low budget, sleazy "C-grade" Indian movies of the 1980s. "[Mumbai] is my city and this audience is more important for me than [the ones in] Cannes," he said. * IANS
Sohail Khan denies cast rumours
The filmmaker Sohail Khan says he is yet to cast any actors in his forthcoming movie Sher Khan. "The script of Sher Khan is still being finalised," he admitted. "We're currently on the stage of working on the dialogue. So only when that's ready will we start to think of who suits the roles." Earlier, there were reports that model Angela Jonsson has been signed up to play the female lead, opposite Sohail's brother, the Bollywood star Salman Khan. * IANS
