Five years from now......

The national awards have just been announced. People are astounded to find out that the winner of best actress award is Priyanka Bassi, a relatively unknown star , who originally started her acting career in television and later did few roles in offbeat cinema. Till now her talent was never properly recognized. Even this time her powerpacked performce in the movie " Aantahin" as a social workere who had to succumb to the pressure of local politicians was not lauded by any of the filmy awards.

It was already past midnight and Priyanka was stil awake . she wasrelaxing on a couch in her bedroom , her pink frilly night-dress was flowing over the carpeted floor. Her hands were folded under her head and she was attentively looking up at the ceiling as if to read God's mesage written there.

She knew she had achieved what she wanted to,. She wanted to prove to the world that she could be the very best. She wanted to prove to him that she was no less than others. Se has waited for this moment of victory since that fatal month of August six years back .

A seperation, silently departing , knowledge that together they could have given he best to the nation but helplessness in not being able to do so.

So she had worked hard, had tried to to give all her soul to each and every role that she got .

Now she could stand up with her head held high , stand up to the world , more important, stand up to him .

She was waiting for a call,

She knew it was late but she also knew he was unpredictable .

".....left - right left........., " buzzed her cellphone , she had never cared to change the ringtone of cellphone in this last six years.

"Hello ...."

She knew her six-year long wait has just ended.

She knew he has come back.
