What if Rajni was not shown as surrogate mother, but shown as Rape Victim? Would Krish and his parivaar have forgave her, or would they have still ignored the fact that she was a victim?

Just a thought, in my opinion, they shouldn't forgive her even with the current situation, BUT, in Indian culture, it is very hard for a girl to get married if she has a past like this, especially if they come from lower middle class. Hence their parents hide from the groom, so their daughters are not seen to the world as prostitutes, and you all know that people talk about girls who haven't gotten married after the right age. "something must be wrong with the girl", "her Charitra isn't good", "she is Chalu" and all, you guys get my point.

So in a way i see why Rajni's mother hid her past.

what you guys think?

any parents might do that, but rajni was wrong when she said, she did nt know vaishnav parivar never knew about her past.
if she was unaware of that fact then ,why she told everyone all these lies.
she could ve told krish about aryan on the 1st day itself.
she is of course a victim, but she should ve told krish atlleast b4 marriage.
he told her everything about poulami.if he goes back let him.

Gaurav's last show was actually with the same concept, him getting married to a Rape Victim without knowing... At the end, the family accepted her...

but what i dont understand is, Everytime Rajni wanted to tell the truth to Krish, he stopped her and told her not now, whenever you feel right, you tell the truth,. then how come he is upset, Understandable that Rajni should off told the truth before marriage, but when time had arisen why didn't krish let her tell the truth. and yeah Its sad that Peoples thinking haven't changed.

she was NEVER going to mention the truth of her being a teenage surrogate mother. Oh dear naive Rajo never planed on telling the truth about her past to anyone. She had hoped that the secret will go with her to her grave. Poor Rajo, she did not know that the truth will come out eventually

what if Namita was in Rajni's place? What would Yashodaben do? If I was born and raised in a western country I would be completely open with my past but not in this kind of society where the girl always gets blamed for everything. This is life and things happen and she is clearly innocent. I think we should do more introspection and try to be in the victim's shoes and imagine what life we or our friends would experience if they spilled the beans.

And again I dont think any sane girl will go running behind the child like that if she's married to a big family. She should have taken things slowly or asked Yash to remarry or bring his mom or send her mom to care for the kid instead of running around him.

She picked her priorities and she has to live with them now.
