What is ur all time favourite short story?

Im really not so fond of short storys now,but stiil I hav started my reading with them,and here is my favorite:The Count of Monte Cristo,and some of ruusian short storys!

Umm enid blytons' and fairy tales r the only short stories i read! 😆 I dunt enjoy dem much actually! 😳

o henry, Somerset Maugham, anton chekov, guy de maupassaunt, mark twain, g k chesterton are some of my fav short story writers.

I really like O. Henry's stories, some of them are so classic. Poe's short stories, especially "The Tell-Tale Heart", are also good

I love that story! I read it first in Bengali in a magazine and then in English in a text. It is so spooky...lol

And didi noone can write short stories better than Tagore. Take Hymanti or the one ends like "...moriya proman korilo je she more naai."

Oh Tale Tale heart was good, we did that in class , years ago, i liked it, 😊

Other like the Landlady by Roald Dahl is gud, actualy a lot of his short stories i like. 😊

Count of Monte Cristo is a NOVEL...
Maybe u are refering to an abridged short version of the original Book..the original Book by Alexander Dumas is one Humungous Novel!😉

i love the Gift of the Magi and The Necklace

Chekhov is the master of short stories.

I also really liked "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner.

i really like the "Graduation"

Its really sad, and really nicely written,, forgot the authors name

but it really sad
