Professor Shonku o Har (Professor Shonku and Bones)

This story revolves around Professor Shonku's interest in bones and a holy man's miraculous ability to resurrect animals. In the story, Professor Shonku tried to find out how the holy man resurrected animals because it was something unbelievable and exceptional. The story is good and has a supernatural touch.

Professor Shonku o Macaw (Professor Shonku and Macaw)

I liked this story even more than Professor Shonku o Har. In this story, Professor Shonku found a Macaw bird and understood it was very different from other birds. The bird knew 17 languages and had extraordinary abilities. In the stories of Professor Shonku, readers often see interesting animals and birds. That is a prominent trait of Professor Shonku's stories. The fun-filled moments of the story made my reading experience enjoyable.

Just finished the third story of the book...It was shorter than previous ones but kept me on edge..felt bad for the holy man who had to die along with that giant animal.

Why did he die? I felt a little confused when I read the story. Was it the effect of his spell? He cast his spell on the dinosaur. But I think he died because of that spell too.

The giant animal ate him up with the tree...before dying he recited some mantra and the animal again became skeleton.

Finished the next one too.. didn't really liked it...after lunch I started reading back to back stories.

Norway one is very much interesting..It reminds me of the short film Ahalya.. enjoying the mysterious stories very much..I have read few of those before too.

I think he died because of his spell only. I don't think the dinosaur ate him in the story. There were two types dinosaurs- carnivorous and herbivorous. This one was a herbivorous dinosaur. Btw, what are your thoughts on the first two stories?

A discussion of the seventh story and the eighth story

Professor Shonku o Chi Ching (Professor Shonku and Chi Ching)

In this story, the Chinese magician, Chi Ching, took revenge on Shonku in such a way that Shonku wouldn't be able to forget that for the rest of his life. Even though the story is short, it's extremely good. I read the story when I was a child. The idea of a lizard transforming into a Chinese dragon seemed very interesting to me when I was a child. I enjoyed the story as an adult, too.

Professor Shonku o Khoka (Professor Shonku and the Little Boy)

This story revolves around a kid who gained extraordinary abilities after getting injured on the head. The story focuses on the activities of this kid and people's reactions to those activities. Even though the story is engaging, the ending is completely unbelievable. I know it's a science fiction story, and we shouldn't expect reality from science fiction stories. Still, it seemed totally impossible that the kid remained alive after drinking dangerous acids in Professor Shonku's laboratory.

A discussion of the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth stories

Professor Shonku o Chi Ching (Professor Shonku and Chi Ching)

In this story, a Chinese magician named Chi Ching took revenge on Shonku in such a way that he would never forget. I read the story when I was a kid, and I thought the transformation of a lizard into a Chinese dragon was extremely interesting. Even as an adult, I really enjoyed reading this story. Despite being short in length, the story is very engaging and unique.

Professor Shonku o Khoka (Professor and the Little Boy)
Professor Shoku o Khoka revolves around the extraordinary capabilities of a child. The kid was injured on his head and he completely changed after that. The story is good. Even though I enjoyed reading the story, I thought the ending was very unrealistic. I know we shouldn't accept reality from science fiction stories. Still, it couldn't accept that the child stayed alive even after drinking dangerous acids.

Professor Shonku o bhoot (Professor Shonku and Ghost)

This story focuses on Shonku's interaction with ghosts. He invented a device named Neo Spectrometre to communicate with the ghosts. This story is underwhelming compared to the other stories of Professor Shonku. So, I can't say it's extremely good.

Professor Shonku o Robu (Professor Shonku and Robu)

When I read Byomjatrir Diary, I came to know about Shonku's robot, Bidhusekhar. In this story, the activities of Shonku's another robot are mentioned. The name of this robot is Robu and it's very good at maths. The story is very good. Specifically, the twist at the end is fantastic! One of the interesting aspects of this story is Professor Shonku's patriotism. He went to Germany so that people of that country could know about the invention of an Indian scientist. I liked this characteristic of Professor Shonku. Patriotism is an admirable quality.
