A discussion of the first story and the second story:

Story 1: Byomjatri Diary (The Diary of a Space Traveller)

This is the first story where Satyajit Roy introduced the wise scientist Professor Shonku. The story is interesting and fun-filled. I received some information about Professor Shonku's robot, Bidhushekhar. A question remained unanswered at the end. Could Professor Shonku go back to the earth? Or did he stay forever on the planet he found?

Story 2: Professor Shonku o Egyptiyo Atonko (Professor Shonko and the Egyptian Terror)

Even though both of the stories are interesting, I liked the second story more. The story is about Egyptian culture and mummies. It's interesting to notice that the view of some Egyptian people about excavation and Professor Shonku's view about excavation were completely different from each other. The man who repeatedly threatened Shonku came to his house to attack him. However, I couldn't understand one thing. Why did that man look like the mummy? Was he a reincarnation of that mummy? Maybe sometimes, some questions should remain unanswered because that makes the stories more mysterious.

A discussion of the third story and the fourth story:

Professor Shonku o Har (Professor Shonku and Bones)

This story revolves around Professor Shonku's interest in bones and a holy man's miraculous ability to resurrect animals. In the story, Professor Shonku tried to find out how the holy man resurrected animals because it was something unbelievable and exceptional. The story is good and has a supernatural touch.

Professor Shonku o Macaw (Professor Shonku and Macaw)

I liked this story even more than Professor Shonku o Har. In this story, Professor Shonku found a Macaw bird and understood it was very different from other birds. The bird knew 17 languages and had extraordinary abilities. In the stories of Professor Shonku, readers often see interesting animals and birds. That is a prominent trait of Professor Shonku's stories. The fun-filled moments of the story made my reading experience enjoyable.

A discussion of the fifth story and the sixth story

Professor Shonku o Aschorjyo Putul (Professor Shonku and Strange Dolls)

Both of the stories are extremely interesting! This story revolves around a Norwegian scientist's weird experiments and Professor Shonku's attempt to escape him. The story introduces the interesting concept of making human beings into dolls. This story shows that the intention of a scientist matters a lot. If a scientist has a good motive, he'll use his knowledge for the betterment of human beings and society. However, dangerous scientists can harm people and damage society.

Professor Shonku o Golok Rohossyo (Professor Shonku and the Mystery of the Sphere)

In this story, a different world and aliens are introduced. When Professor Shonku saw the mysterious sphere for the first time, he couldn't understand that it was actually a different planet. The most interesting aspect of the story is that the sphere was way smaller than Earth, yet the inhabitants of that sphere/planet were much more advanced than human beings. I liked this story a lot because it's quite unique. I really admire the uniqueness of Satyajit Roy's stories.
