Either way I'll probably reread it, this seems right up my alley anyway smiley36

There weren’t any dogs or spies in this one 😂 I cannot recall much of the scenes as it’d been years 😂 I recall him being overprotective and trying to help her pursue her goals and think that’s something they’d bonded over? I’d recommend giving it a read and see if you’ve read it before or maybe check Goodreads reviews as some do have spoilers on there. It’s on my list for a reread so not checking it for spoilers as I wanna read it like it’s my first time 😂

Hey

How’s everyone doing so far?

Just want to point out - while it’s okay to track progress and update your log (number of pages read) everyday, I would suggest not putting the total number of pages in your book unless you’ve actually finished reading them. Only put the number of pages you have actually read in your page log. Not the ones you’re planning to read

There are far too many lovely books in this world to waste time on ones I don't like. Now if I don't like a book, I just chuck it and move on to another one. I forget that book even existed. Feels very satisfying tbh 😌smiley36

Waise bhi forgetting is so easy for me (a bit too easy tbh smiley19) Even among the stories that I love, I keep forgetting if it was a book or a fic, which author/fandom it was (I read from a bajilion fandoms), the name of the book... I forget pretty much everything 🙈smiley19 I just remember the most random details and I remember my feelings about the story... aka things that don't matter to anyone else smiley37

Oh I DNF books all the time but I hate doing it so I check the blurbs and the ratings before I actually start reading them, so that I don’t DNF. smiley36

But yeah, of course ratings aren’t foolproof. Still, there are very few books I end up reading all the way through and rate them as low as 2 stars. Except the ones i do with my online Book club. Those I read just for the fun of being in Book Club. And even if they turn out to be duds, it’s so much fun hate-reading and trolling the book, that it makes it worth not DNFing smiley36

I was so looking forward to binge reading during my AL and I’m still trying to finish the first book I’m on. Only reached 40% 😣 I had listed 6 books to finish by Monday 😂

That’s ok! You can still pick up speed, you have the whole month to go!

yeah , after I made my entry, i saw you have the same book.. smiley36

I had this one in my list from long back after completing The girl on train from same author . And it didn’t meet my expectations from the first one that time.

Now when I am reading it, I am liking it.

Hey team!

How are y'all doing so far??

Do me a favor please!

Please update your logs in this Google sheet as well when you log pages in your post.

It helps me track pages and add them up easily! Also put in links to ebooks/ FFs if you're reading them here so that I can verify them!

Thanks a ton! Feel free to change anything on the sheet like your highlight colour (just don't mess with anyone else's log smiley36), you can add (insert) more lines in your list.

I've also added the link to this sheet in the first post!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1812YSyXDUL97eGS0BY-CgQ19VPBYh6Mn6GZot1Mkuus/edit?usp=sharing

NOTE: Please don't add pages unless you've finished (or DNF) the book!
