The Book First...Every Time. :) I find that most times movies don't depict the books well...I have yet to find a movie that lives up to what the book created...

Books anytime!
there's no comparison between the two when authors can do magic with words and leave the rest to our imagination.. :)

Book first.Because somtimes in movies they tend to add and omit things on
their own😊

Definitely books and almost all books I've read were better than their corresponding movie versions.

Movie first, so that I will be satisfy with that movie, then I will read the books with full of wonderment.

Frankly, I've yet to watch a movie better than the counterpart novel. Capturing the essence of a book in 1.5 hours is not an easy thing to do after all. Besides, what sells books, doesn't sell movies.

You see, the problem is I always read the book first and then watch the movie only to find it not satisfactory to my liking. Books, unlike movies are rich in detail and emotions that I feel, a movie fails to capture..
Given my way, I would have directed the Harry Potter movies down to the t.. with peeves and all.. 😛

I am not sure. Sometimes you read a book and then go watch the movie and it turns out to be real crap like ones they did with Percy Jackson series. The movies are nowhere near the books. Besides, I personally feel that if you are making a movie based on some book/novel, you have no right to alter the story line. So as a reader, it breaks your heart. While there are some movies that keep the essence of the books intact like for example HP series and I loved the Hunger Games for that matter too.But I still would prefer to read a book first and then go for movie.
