I Hate how I didn't know about this book earlier, but in a way EXTREMELY glad that I didn't have to wait for the second book in the series after that huge CLIFFHANGER in the 1st book!!!
There is no Light in Darkness & Darkness before Dawn by Claire Contreras!!!! 5++++++++ INFINITE huge stars for this book!!! Let me tell this to each and everyone of you book lovers, no matter what your preferences are for a specific genre, THIS BOOK SHOULD BE GIVEN A TRY, I ASSURE YOU IT'LL NOT BE A DISAPPOINTMENT!! HELL OF A COMPLEX MYSTERY, LOTS OF ANGST, DRAMA, SWOON WORTHY ROMANCE, SUSPENSE AND HUGE AMOUNT OF THRILL IN THIS BOOK! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!! IT WAS AS IF I WAS THE CHARACTER IN THE BOOK!
I have read so many novels, and so many novels in series, but this is a gem! Amazing cast and characters! I don't regret buying this book at all! It is a book worth keeping in your bookshelf forever!!!

I have read so many Romantic Suspense, Young/Adult Mature novels about alpha, tortured heroes. BUT, I never thought it could be possible to have such a HUGE crush on a fictional character which is COLE!!!!! This guy is the BEST Boyfriend ever I have read in a book!!!! LIKE EVER!!! COLE is the Perfect Boyfriend, even a Perfect Husband to have in Real LIfe! (protective, understanding, deeply with his soul in love with Blake!!!) I mean I used to have a crush on Sebastian from Devil in Winter, but just purely in the book, but COLE is THE GUY for me!!!! He just has raised the bar! Cole (Ahh! no words for this character, I WISH I COULD TAKE HIM OUT OF THE BOOK AND MAKE HIM Stay WITH ME FOREVER! ) *sigh*...That isn't possible is it?šš
This book has it all, lots of complex mystery it will tie you in knots! Lots of suspense, lots of tears (YOU NEED TISSUE BOXES), soul touching romance and one FANTASTIC HEROINE! I mean for a guy like COLE it makes sense to have a worthwhile HEROINE for him!!! Otherwise, I would be damn angry! Just kidding, lol. I just have to say this, if I was Blake and this happened to me in real life, it would have left me in shreds! If there wasn't a guy like COLE beside her or me for that matter, I would never have been able to LIVE!!!!!
