I liked the character Gale. Have to see how he will help Kat in the future chapters. Seems like a nice guy. Does Kat love him ?

Since I've read the trilogy, I'm gonna try my hardest not to give anything away and stick to the current chapters only. Gale is a really nice guy. In such an uncertain world, Kat and Gale are good friends and trust each other. He is really important.

Does Kat love him? We don't know yet.. but I think at the moment she loves him as a friend only.

I really like Prim too... she's that one bright happy thing in Kat's life.

I am posting my thoughts on both Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of the book.

I loved the silent support the audience gave Katniss. That was awesome but still so sad.. Not able to do what your heart says and still remain under the rules🤢

My suspicion about Kat and her mom came true. I felt in the first chapter that there was something lacking in their relationship. She clears it up now. I love Kat's strength and her undying love for her sister. Although she is only 16 she has had to own up responsibilites very soon owing to her father's death and her mom's depression. She seems very close to her dad.

Peeta like kat evn I doubt him but, he helps her wen der was no game goin on so may be he is truly kind..

At least kat has a partner who might turn as enemy but at least in beginning she hs a companion..

Interesting observations, Almas!

It's turning out so hard for me to discuss this book since I've already read the trilogy... I want not to give anything away but it's so hard!

I love Cinna - the designer! He's probably one of the very few people in the Capitol that I actually like.
